1. Summarize the SONA of our president.
a. Are you satisfied of the achievements of Pres. Rodrigo Duterte? Explain your
answer.
For me, I am satisfied of the achievements of President Duterte because as we observe that he
has improved the security of the citizens, he defend and protect our country for the people of the
Philippines to have peace living by arresting those people who earn money in illegal ways and
cleaning our government from corrupt officials.
b. Basing from the achievements, what set apart our president from previous presidents
before him?
Basing from the achievements of Pres. Rodrigo Duterte, for me it is appreciable, effective and
must be continued by the next president because it never let our country down and in every
plans from him, it is for the improvement and for the people of the Philippines

Taj Mahal

Miagao Church
The Miagao Church also known as the Santo Tomás de Villanueva Parish Church is a Roman
Catholic church located in Miagao, Iloilo, Philippines.
Tubbataha Natural Park

The Tubbataha Natural Park, also known as the Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park, is a protected
area of the Philippines located in the middle of the Sulu Sea. The marine and bird sanctuary
consists of two huge atolls and the smaller Jessie Beazley Reef covering a total area of 97,030
hectares.
Cagsawa Ruins

The Cagsawa Ruins (also spelled as Kagsawa, historically spelt as Cagsaua) are the remnants
of a 16th-century Franciscan church, the Cagsawa church. It was originally built in the town of
Cagsawa in 1587 but was burned down and destroyed by Dutch pirates in 1636. It was rebuilt in
1724 by Fr. Francisco Blanco, but was destroyed again, along with the town of Cagsawa, on
February 1, 1814, during the eruption of the Mayon Volcano.

Dinakdakan
Dinakdakan is an appetizer dish that originated from the Ilocos Region, in the
Philippines. This interesting dish is made-up of boiled and grilled pig parts, in which ears,
liver, and face or mascara are the most commonly used. Stomach and intestines can be
utilized.

Kinilaw
 Kinilaw is a raw seafood dish and preparation method native to the Philippines. It is also
referred to as Philippine ceviche due to its similarity to the Latin American dish Ceviche.

Piassak

PIASSAK is cow liver cooked with burnt coconut.

4. What are your favorite OPM? Why do you think they are not as popular as the K-pop or
the foreign songs that are always trending? What can we do to make the opm be more
popular?
My favorite OPM song is FOREVERMORE,KAY TAGAL and PUSONG LIGAW. They are not
as popular as the K-pop or the foreign songs because those K-pop idols uses their faces to gain
fame from the hearts of those ladies out there. In order to make OPM more popular in our own
country, all we can do as fans is to support our own singers by listening to their song.

5. In the Philippines, I believe that we have the potential to win more gold medals or any
medals not just in the Olympics but on other international events. Due to lack of action
and support from our government, our athletes are not reaching their potential or not
given equal opportunities to shine. What must local and national government do more to
help aside from the actions done by the Duterte government in creating the new clarcity
sports hub, national academy of sports and etc?
I think that the local and national government should help athletes in their sports financially. If a
certain athlete became successful in his career, chances are they may inspire young
generations to involve themselves in sports and to not waste their time by only using gadgets.
The government should provide the support needed especially the equipment that are to be
used and buildings to train their bodies to be physically fit. Not only does this benefit the fame of
our country but also the health of those athletes.
6. Craft a sample program/law/idea/etc. that will uphold/strengthen the sense of
patriotism/nationalism of the youth of our nation. (ex. The mandatory rotc program for
the senior high/mandated flag ceremony for college students/etc) Be creative.
The mandatory flag ceremony for the Municipal Agencies to sing and recite our national anthem
and national pledge of the Philippines.
