Assessment 

The assessment for this module consists of two different assignments: 

Assignment 1:  A presentation/pitch on an innovative initiative (e.g. new service, product,

process) which demonstrates how it supports, or can potentially support, a community social
need.

Assignment 2: A 2.000-word (+/- 10%) report in which you demonstrate your ability to evaluate
entrepreneurial creativity by identifying and discussing an entrepreneurial organisation (or an
innovative product or service introduced by an organisation) which you believe gives the best
example of creativity and innovation within your chosen sector. In highlighting creativeness and
innovativeness, you can discuss the business incentive and social mission of the
organisation/product/service or focus on specific aspects of the organisation/product/service or a
combination of these.

You will have an opportunity to submit your draft presentation (in any format) and your draft
essay for feedback. 

For your essay, you can submit just an outline, together with some key ideas that you will
develop further in due course.

You will need to send your draft work to your seminar tutor before, or during, week 7 of the
module.  This feedback will be very valuable to you as it will help you ensure that you are 'on
track' with your work.
