A step towards SKILL INDIA

HCI IC is very keen on creating a sustainable workmen resource pool for use at project sites
and thereby ensure the unemployed youth of our nation to become self-sufficient with
adequate knowledge and skills.

As a firm step towards this goal, K.R.R. Chandran – Head Corporate Services, has triggered
an initiative, to skill train rural youths from remote locations of Madhya Pradesh.

Currently, workmen are getting trained on construction-related trades by CSTI- Jadcherla

team – initially for a month at CII Chhindwara, subsequently for 2 months at CSTI – Jadcherla.

Based on the guidance and support from

KRRC, we have signed MOU with M/s
Quesscorp who will be our operating
partner towards imparting training at CII
– Chhindwara and provide employment
opportunity to the trained workmen.

Currently, the trades offered are Bar-

bending, Formwork, Masonry, 22nd Nov, 2021: 1st batch of students of Bar Bending

Scaffolding. In due course will also cater

to specialized trades of Piling, Shot-creting.

CSTI – Jadcherla will continue to be our

knowledge partner. Within a short span
we have the pride of training 2 new
trainers in CSTI-Jadcherla who will enable
students to undergo practical and
classroom training sessions in CII-
Chhindwara Skill center.

Successfully, we have started our Classroom session in Bar-bending in progress

proposed training model scheduled for a month, from 22 November 2021 in CII – Chhindwara.

With this initiative, under CSTI- Jadcherla two Skills training Center Chhindwara (M.P) &
Najibabad (U.P) are now operational and two more Skill Centres, one in Seoni District (M.P)
and another one in Ranchi (JH) are in finalization stage. This will help to source more rural
youth for training and make them employable, striving towards “Skill India.”
