VENDOR MASTER DATA MAINTENANCE (VMD)

In the Vendor Master Database, you will find complete information about Ecolab's vendors (also known as
"suppliers"). This information is recorded in the Vendor Master Records of each individual vendor. Vendor
Master Maintenance Processes and Policies will be explained, with an emphasis on 3rd Party, Logistics and
Employee Vendor data.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 Perform vendor onboarding of new vendors - Create new vendors or amendments and update
existing vendors and other necessary changes into the Vendor Database in accordance with the
company policy in SAP.

 Maintain vendor master database and monitor and controlling of sensitive change requests from
any supplier/ 3rd party to avoid a Phishing attack.

 Analyze, monitor, and review the quality of master data in accordance with standards, policies, and
procedures.

 Maintained the integrity of the customer data, master account information for confidential.

 Working on Vendor Master and SAP FICO for nations in Europe, the United States, and Canada.

 Coordination with inter-department, vendors, and other parties to solve the Vendor Master
related issues

 Follow the external and internal controls to ensure 100% compliance with the Process (Vendor
Master Data)

 Worked on SAP, Mainframe, Csh, iScala, SharePoint, OnBase, Citrix, and other tools and
interfaces.

 Worked extensively on SAP Vendor Master using transaction codes XK01, XK02, XK03, XK05,
XK06, etc.

 Knowledge of W8 and W9 tax documents

Management of Queries

 Responding to vendor and client inquiries.


 Responding to inquiries from the procurement team.
 Working on escalation emails and assigning the daily upload Matrix to Team Members.
 Handling escalations for any issues relating to the Customer Creation Processing.
 Working on the quality control of customer creation in the system.
 Working on the Duplicate Audit to find the duplicate Account.
 Documented productivity, identified areas for improvement, and was accountable for promptly
updating SOPs and training new hires.
 Query resolution and root cause analysis to aid in process improvement.

Responsibilities on a daily and monthly basis

 Investigating and addressing customer concerns

 Supporting and resolving difficulties for clients by knowing and surpassing their expectations

 Follow up with customers on a regular basis to ensure needs are addressed and opportunities are
identified.

 Maintain a client, prospect, partner, and vendor database.

 Meeting set productivity and quality benchmarks on a regular basis.

 Training on how to produce Sop's.

 Excel Training (Basic), Business Etiquette Training, Email Writing Skills Training, Essential Communication
Skills.
