Quiz 3. Make a short essay about the importance of the involvement of the
teachers in the curriculum.
Curriculum has a big part for the teachers and teachers are also a big part of a
curriculum to make it success. The teacher is the one who implement the curriculum
inside the classroom. Without a teacher, the curriculum will be useless. They are the
most important part of the curriculum with the help of their experiences and knowledge.
We should support them in any way that we can because they are the one who
practices and execute the content of curriculum.

What are more roles of teachers in education that did not included on the report?
Aside from teaching, parenting and role modelling, they are also capable of
promoting leadership to school and society. A teacher is a participant in the
class, too. They are not just giving information to their students but they are
participating to an active and interesting discussion of their students. A teacher is
a controller or authority of one classroom.
As a future teacher, how are you being able to accept this role and how will you
fulfil this?
As a future teacher, I can fulfil and accept this role by following all the rules step-
by-step to be a good and knowledgeable teacher someday. When I will become
a teacher soon, I will apply all the knowledge that I have gain right now. This will
serve as my guidelines in the future.

ENUMERATION:
ESSAY (10PTS)
“As a future teacher, how can you implement the curriculum in
teaching?”
As a future teacher, there are ways where I can implement the curriculum
in my teaching. We need to identify who are our students and the
strategies that we are going to use to implement the curriculum
successfully. We are going to use the curriculum as a guide in teaching.
We need to be ready in every meet with our students. That are the ways
for me to implement the curriculum in teaching.

GROUP 8: ACTIVITY 8
ACTIVITY
1. Explain the statement “Teacher is the heart of the Curriculum”.
The teacher is the main instrument in a curriculum. Without the teacher,
the curriculum cannot implement itself. It will be successful and
implemented only if there is someone who will perform or execute it.
2. They say teachers are the implementers of curriculum. If so, do you think
teachers should implement a curriculum without asking the parents suggestions
and concerns in the curriculum? Why?
No. In terms of curriculum involvement, parents included there. To have a
systematic and right curriculum, the teachers should involve the
suggestions and ideas of the parents because parents also give supports
to the school to have a quality learning environment.
3. How can you say if the curriculum that had been implemented is effective and
suited to the students?
I can say that the curriculum implemented is effective and suited to the
students if they are learning well and no one left behind.

1. What are the three types of curriculum design and give their meaning of each?
Subject-centred design – it focuses on a particular subject rather than the
students.
Learner-centred design – it focuses on the learners.
Problem-centred design – it focuses on real life situations to help the
students to solve a problem.
