Objectives:
1. Define and identify blended words
2. Infer the meaning of unfamiliar blended words based on given context clues (synonyms,
antonyms, word parts) and other strategies
In this learner’s packet you are going to learn some blended words and infer meanings of
unfamiliar blended words used in sentences.
To infer the meaning of unfamiliar blended words in a sentence you can search for context
clues to help you out. Take a look at the example below.
