currently 8 AM. Nex let me introduce our crew bus, on your right side we are accompanied by Mr
Jamal as our professional driver who as 12 years experience as a driver, can you imagin that 12
years, its not a short time right ? it was a very long time, so don’t worry about our tour today
because I belive our tour today must be going safe and comfortable. And we have Mr Dimas as a his
professional assistant driver, he will have Mr Jamal during the tour and he will keep our bus clean
and the last but not less myselft my name is Melda Suryani you can call me Melda for simple, do you
now what I feel ringht now ? I fell excited and a little bit nervous cause today I can stand here in

Our itnerary for today start at Nort Sumatra Museum, after visiting Nort sumatra museu we will also
visit maimun palace and Lake Toba . All you need enjoy Medan has already been well prepared since

Everyone this is the north sumatra museum, let me tell you the history of background of this tourism
place.

The north Sumatra Museum or locally known as Northern Sumatra Museum, a state owned museum
located along H.M Jhoni Steet, Medan Indonesia. This museum is the largest museum in Nort
Sumatra and includes a variety of cultural heritage of indonesia, as well as art and crafts from
various ethnic groups in nort sumatra. This museum buildin wa constructed in 1954. The museum it
self was inaugurated on april 19,, 1987 by the Minister of Education and Culture, Daud jusuf. This
museum in one of the foremost museums in indonesia. The museum consistant of a main building
of two floors which function as a permaenent exhibition space, a place fot temporary exhibitions,
and audio visual room.

In 2005, the museum had 6,799 collection consist on animal replicas typical of sumatra, fossil
replicas of early humans, dioramas of prehistoric life, as well as a variety of prehistoric tools. Other
relics such as statues of hindu buddha relich, tombstone sheritage Al-quran, a replica of masjid Aziz
is here, and also  historical tooling around dutch colonial era also collected. In addition, there is also
a model of colonial figures and replicas of Medan city life around past era. Collectibles include
traditional and modern weapon medicine – traditional medicine, communications equipment used
against the invaders. Also featured paintings of heroism and wartime propaganda poster.
Photographs and paintings of heroes and former governors of Northern Sumatra also presented.
