community and of course many people are consumed by the hoax information due
to lack of information. Knowledge in the field of law. Therefore, a website is
needed as a platform for users to seek legal counsel or vice versa and also as a
repository for information about the legal field.
Website making requires frond end and back-end development; this report

CHAPTER III
RESULT OF THE INTERNSHIP

The problem discussed in this Internship report is the creation of the front-end
website Bursa Hukum dan Hamparan Cipta Griya.

3.1 Description of Internship Performance

Internship activities are carried out at PT. Akebono Brake Astra Indonesia,
which is located on Jl. Pegangsaan Two Blocks A1 Km 1.6, Kelapa Gading,
North Jakarta 14250. Politeknik Negeri Semarang students are placed in the
developer section, especially in the full stack developer section. The Internship
lasts for approximately three months, starting on March 1 to May 31, 2021, with
working days starting from Monday to Friday with working hours from 07.30 to
17.00 WIB. There is one task given, namely the creation of the Full-stack
Documentation Control website.
The front-end of the Documentation Control website is made using the
PHP programming language, JavaScript, Laravel Framework and Bootstrap
Framework. Then in the Back-end section using the MSSql programming
language.

3.2 Result of Internship

In compiling the results of the Internship, the author uses the theoretical
basis derived from various sources, and the following is the explanation:
3.2.1 HTML
HTML (HyperText Markup Language) is the markup language for
building a webpage. HTML is a markup that is used to define the structure of
the webpage. These things are such as create a paragraph element, picture,
link, etc. HTML is arranged from elements of HTML. HTML element is
defined by HTML tags.

18
3.2.2 CSS
CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) is a rule for controlling several
components in a web to be more structured and uniform. CSS was created by
the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). CSS is not a programming
language—a collection of sequential and interconnected codes to set the
format/appearance of an HTML page.

3.2.3 JavaScript
JavaScript is a web programming language that is a kind of Client-
Side Programming Language. Client-Side Programming Language is a type
of programming language that process mainly deals with the client. The client
application in question refers to a web browser such as Google Chrome and
Mozilla Firefox. The function of Java Script is to make websites more
interactive. The script runs in the browser instead of in the server and usually
goes to a third-party library to provide advanced functionality without
requiring developers to code from the beginning.

3.2.4 PHP
PHP (recursive abbreviation for PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor) is a
widely used open-source general-purpose scripting language well suited for
web development and embedded into HTML. As a scripting language, PHP
executes programming instructions at runtime. The results of the instructions
will, of course, be different depending on the data processing. PHP is often
used to build dynamic websites such as online stores.
PHP is a server-side programming language, which means the script
from PHP will be processed in the other server. Types of servers that are
often used in conjunction with PHP include Apache, Nginx, and LiteSpeed.

3.2.5 Framework Bootstrap

Bootstrap is an open-source framework specifically for the front end,
which Mark Otto and Jacob Thornton created to simplify and speed up web
development on the front end. Bootstrap has HTML and CSS based design
templates for various functions and components, such as navigation, grid
system, image carousel, and buttons. This framework does save developers

19
time because there is no need to manage templates many times. However, the
primary function of Bootstrap is to create responsive sites. The website
interface will work optimally on all screen sizes, both on smartphone screens
and computer/laptop screens. Developers no longer need to design specific
sites for certain devices. The desktop version of traffic and audience reach
will not be lost and will still be directed to the mobile version of the website.

3.2.6 Visual Studio Code

Visual Studio Code is the editor for all developers, all programming
languages used, developed and marketed by Microsoft. Visual Studio Code
V.1.41 is the current version of this program.

3.2.7 Xampp
XAMPP functions as a local server to handle various types of
website data that are under development. In practice, XAMPP can test feature
performance or display content on the website to others without being
connected to the internet; access it through the Xampp control panel or the
term offline website. XAMPP works offline like regular web hosting but
cannot be accessed by many people.

3.2.8 Google Chrome

Google Chrome is the leading browser type that is often used to
perform data search activities. It was first released by Google on September 2,
2008, only for Microsoft Windows because it is still in beta status and was
developed using the Webkit rendering engine. Google Chrome allows users
to execute code that is being developed because it is one of the functions of
Google Chrome itself as a rendering medium.

3.2.9. Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio

Microsoft SQL Server is a relational database management system

(RDBMS) product of Microsoft. Its primary query language is Transact-SQL,
which implements the ANSI/ISO standard SQL used by Microsoft and
Sybase. Generally, SQL Server is used in the business world with a small to a
medium-sized database but then grows with SQL Server on large databases.

20
Microsoft SQL Server and Sybase/ASE can communicate over the
network using the Tabular Data Stream (TDS) protocol. Apart from that,
Microsoft SQL Server also supports ODBC (Open Database Connectivity)
and has a JDBC driver for the Java programming language. Another feature
of SQL Server is its ability to create database mirroring and clustering.

3.3 Analysis The Problem

The problems analyzed are an overview of the tasks being carried out, the
hardware and software used to create the system.
3.3.1 Internship Overview
The first internship task that was given was to create Website
Documentation Control. A website is a collection of pages on a domain on
the internet started with a specific purpose and interconnected and can be
widely accessed through the home page using a browser using a website URL.
This assignment has a target of 3 months. In this case, the creator and
developer of the website are responsible to the Quality Assurance division, as
those who need this application. This Documentation Control Website aims
to Input Documentation Data for factory workers in each production line.
This website was created using Visual Studio Code, Xampp, and Microsoft
SQL Server Management Studio software. Then display it in the Google
Chrome browser.

3.3.2 Hardware Used

Hardware that is required to build this website:
1) Laptop
2) Mouse
3.3.3 Software Used
Software that is necessary to build this website:
1) Visual Studio Code
2) XAMPP
3) Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
4) Chrome Browser

21
3.4 Website Building and Result of Internship
3.4.1 Website Stationery PT. Akebono Brake Astra Indonesia
First, the user must input what tasks they have done that day. The
template for input data in Excel has been prepared, so the user only needs to
input the existing format. On the Input page, the user must select Checker and
Approver. Then, the user has to wait whether the document is approved or not.
If the record supports, then the document is registered, and if the document is
rejected, the user must revise the document.

3.4.1.1 Login Page

This login page is used to enter the home page. If the NPK is only a
user, you can only input documents according to the user’s Department. If
the NPK is an admin, you can see what documents have been registered by
the user. Admins can still use features such as users.

There is no register function on the login page because it is only for

the Company, and the programmer has entered the data. There are NPK,
Name, Division, Section, Active User or Not, and the NPK is admin or user.
To add an ‘EMPLOYEE’ user, it can only be added via the admin page.

3.4.1.2 Homepage
The Homepage is the first page that will appear after finished the

NPK. On the left side, there is a sidebar menu that contains the Main page,
Input Request Document, Master Register, and Master List Document.
