ANS: This domain is categorized into five levels, which include:
 Receiving – is being aware of or sensitive to the existence of certain
ideas, material, or phenomena and being willing to tolerate them.
Examples include: to differentiate, to accept, to listen (for), to respond to.
 Responding – is committed in some small measure to the ideas, materials,
or phenomena involved by actively responding to them. Examples are: to
comply with, to follow, to commend, to volunteer, to spend leisure time in,
to acclaim.
 Valuing – is willing to be perceived by others as valuing certain ideas,

 Organization – is to relate the value to those already held and bring it into

2. What is an "attitude"? Why is the study of attitude important?

ANS: In order to consciously evolve and master ourselves, our attitude in each
moment is what we should focus on as our gauge of personal mastery. We are

beings of perception, and the quality of our perception is determined by our

attitude. This is the importance of studying attitude. Additionally, our attitude

determines how we react to adversity, our ability to grow and to learn, our ability
to overcome challenges, and create bonds with others.

3. How will understanding of attitudes and predisposition enhance teaching?

ANS: Every aspect of a person's life, including their education, is affected by their
attitude. Students' learning habits influence their capacity and willingness to

learn. A student is unlikely to continue his or her education beyond what is

expected if negative attitudes are not changed. Therefore, understanding attitude
is very important for a teacher because it has a variety of effects on the students
and has the potential to influence their learning experience.
