1.0. PACKING AND DISPATCH:

1.1. Purpose:

This procedure defines the requirements for the packaging and dispatch of all

materials and products at Amigos facility Dong Xuyen,

1.2. Scope:

This procedure shall apply to all materials for shipment and complies with all

Packaging and Dispatch Guidelines applied for project.

1.3. Definitions:

1.3.1. Packaging:

The preparation and protection of finished items of prior to dispatch using

the systems outlined in the above guidelines.

1.3.2. Dispatch:

The safe and secure installation of finished materials and products in

containers, boxes or crates for shipping in accordance with the project’s

applicable guidelines.

o All fabricated products or materials should be inspected and released by

QC inspector prior any commencement of packing activities.

o All finished items which ready for packing shall be protected with suitable

material such as plastic sheet, rubber, wooden, or any other material

required by project’s applicable guidelines during loading and packing.

These items shall be recorded by logistic and witnessed by QC inspector to

be sure all packed items are meet adequate required of protection.

o All items ready for shipment shall be containerized according to priority

and the client’s erection sequence.

o QA/QC department shall be issued a packing release to verified for all

packed items are meeting all project’s requirements and ready for dispatch.

A copy of all documentation relevant to the packed items shall be stored in

the container or box.

o The exterior of the containers, boxes and crates shall be clearly marked to

identify the contents.

o Containers shall be laid down so as they are accessible in numerical order.

2.2 Rules:

o Containers, boxes or crates shall not be sealed until a Q.C final inspection

of the documentation has taken place.

o Containers, boxes and crates shall be stored in accordance with the clients

Shipping and Dispatch guidelines.

o Removal of containers, boxes or crates of finished items from the lay down

area shall require the approval of the Project Manager or his nominated

deputy.

o Amigos Logistics Manager shall be responsible for packaging, lay down

and dispatch of all containers, boxes and crates of finished products or

materials for the project.

3.0 Responsibility:

o Logistic is response to make sure the accurate of quantity and

arrange dispatching schedule as per project’s plan.

o QA/QC is response to make sure all released items for packing are

meeting all technical requirement such as dimensional, welding,

NDT, material, painting etc.

o Any damaged items found during packing shall be “Hold” and these

items can be released for packing only when it was re-inspected and

accepted by QC inspector

4.0 Documentation:

o All records of each fright shall be documented by logistic for

dispatching traceability.

o All Packing Release reports shall be documented into manufacture

data reports(MDR) folder
