Every time you roll a desperate action, mark xp in that action's attribute.
At the end of each session, for each item below, mark 1 xp (in your playbook or an
attribute) or 2 xp if that item occurred multiple times.
You acted in accordance with the teachings of the Temple — or — you
exploited your position for personal gains.
You expressed your bonds, blood, or background.
You struggled with issues from your passion or darkness during the session.

Special abilities
At the start of the game and each time your Experience tracker fills up, choose one of the following:
Silver tongue
Your words flow like music, beautiful and mesmerizing. You may try to Charm or Command even when the knives are
already out.
Inquisitive gaze
You can always tell when someone is lying to you.
Have faith
When you Command or Charm a true believer, roll +1D.
Turn beasts
When you hold your holy symbol aloft and call on the Sun above for protection, you can push yourself to Command a
Beast to flee or, at least, keep its distance.
Authority
When you Recruit, roll +1D.
History repeats itself
When you Observe the Sun for too long, you can mark two Doom to ask the GM one question about the possible future.
It will come, if you don’t intervene.
Words of power
When you shout the words of power in the language of the First Men, mark any level of Harm. Then, choose someone
nearby — they're gonna heal that much Harm. Choose someone else — they're gonna suffer the same harm.
Versatile
Pick an ability from another playbook. You can do it up to three times.
Darkness
When you accept the deal of the Death herself or choose to be touched by the Dark when Meeting your Doom, choose
one of the following:
The deal is a deal
When you shake on a deal, you and your partner — human or otherwise — both bear a mark of your oath. If either breaks the
contract, they take grave harm, "Cursed".
Serpent’s tongue
When you Command humans and human-kin, you can push yourself to completely dominate their mind, turning
them into lifeless machine-like servants until someone shakes them out of it.
Deep within
When you Observe someone, you can push yourself to “hear” their true thoughts.
Beast
You succumb to the Darkness completely and become an NPC. Describe, what glorious angel-like form your husk will take.
