CASE STUDY OF BAGHOLA, PALWAL, FARIDABAD, HARYANA

Baghola is a Village in Palwal Tehsil in Palwal District of Haryana State, India, Spread in an
area of 9.69 km². Baghola village is administrated by Gram Panchayat.

Background:

This ancient village has a proud history as this is the motherland of Birbal who was an advisor in
the court of Mughal emperor Akbar. The local language of this village is Hindi.

Facilities

It is a large village. The only Sanskrit Vidyapeeth of Haryana is situated in this village. It also
has DHVPNL power distribution Sub-Station of capacity (66KV), primary and secondary
schools (Govt. & Private), clinics and also has an Orphanage. Industries are also present at large
scale. This village is also famous for its own cracker warehouse.

Demography

Village has around 931 households, with a total population of 5413. The male population is 2826
and female population is 2587 as per the Census 2011 data. The rate of migrants from this village
is also very low because of availability of jobs in near area due to industrialization. People from
other states come to this village to work in industries near baghola. So day by day the population
of village is increasing.

to nuclear families.
