 PUT ON PPE/HARNESS AND CARRY OUT BUDDY CHECKS
 TAKE TRAINEE ON DECK AND EXPLAIN TRANSFER PROCEDURE AND ASK
DECK HAND TO EXPLAIN HIS ROLE IN PROCEDURE.
 MYSELF TO CLIMB FIRST
 ASK DECKHAND ABOUT INSPECTION DATE ON SAFETY HOOK, VISUALLY
INSPECT HOOK AND SAFETY CATCH, AND VISUALLY INSPECT YO YO
WIRE AND LADDER RUNGS.
 CLIP ON AND CLIMB TO FIRST PLATFORM, STAYED ATTACHED UNTIL
VISUALLY INSPECTED PLATFORM, IF OK SECURE TO SUITABLE ANCHOR
POINT WITH MANYARD.
 DISCONNECT YO YO, STAY ON MANYARD AND PROGRESS TO SECOND
LADDER INSPECT LADDER RUNGS AND CHECK STEEL WIRE IS IN
INSPECTION DATE.
 SECURE CAB LOC AND REMOVE MANYARD
 CLIMB LADDER, AT THE TOP STAY ATTACHED TO CAB LOC AND INSPECT
DOR /HINGES ETC FOR SECURITY.
 IF HAPPY ATTACH MANYARD TO ANCHOR POINT, REMOVE CABLOC AND
CLIMB THRU GATE, STAY ATTACHED UNTIL DOOR IS CLOSED BEHIND
ME.
 ESTABLISH COMMS / CARRY OUT RADIO CHECK WITH BOAT.
 WATCH TRAINEE CLIMB
 ONCE ON PLATFORM ENSURE OUR MANYARDS ETC ARE STOWED AWAY
CORRECTLY.

FIRE EXTINGHUISERS, SPINE BOARDS IN PLACE, GAURDS AND
PANELS ARE IN PLACE.ETC
 PLUG IN KEYPAD MENU 24 RE CHECK BRAKE IS APPLIED
 PUT BLUE LEVER TO SEVICE MODE THIS GIVING LOCAL CONTROL,
 TAKE OUT AWP READY TO FILL IN, CHECKING I HAVE ALL DETAILS
FROM PHONE CONVERSATION WITH OPERATIONAL CONTROLLER
 LOOK OUT OF REAR HATCH TO ENSURE THERE IS NO
OBSTRUCTION ON NACELLE DOORS 1 AND 2
 BACK TO A3 PANEL AND OPEN NACELLE DOORS 1 AND 2 IN THAT
ORDER PROVIDING WIND SPEED IS BELOW 18M/S
 FIT TURNING GEAR INPECTING CONDITION OF MOTOR, CABLING
AND PLUG
 GO FORWARD CHECK HOOK ON POINT AT ENTRANCE TO HUB IS
IN DATE, HOOK ON AND OPEN TWO HATCHES.
 GO BACK TO TURNING GEAR, WARN TRAINEE OF MOVING PARTS
RELEASE BRAKE AND OPERATE UNTIL BLADES ARE IN BUNNY
EAR PSOITION AND HUB HATCH IS IN PLACE.
 WHEN HATCH IS ALLIGNED INSTALL HIGH SPEED ROTOR LOCK
 RESET BRAKE ON KEY PAD
 FILL IN THAT SECTION ON AWP SIGNING SIGNATURE
CHECKPOINT, TIME AND DATE, GO FORWARD TO HUB HATCH,
CLIP ON AND REMOVE HATCH COVER…..CARRY OUT POINT
OF WORK RISK ASSESSMENT!
 DROP IN O2 METER ENSURING IT IS WITHIN CLAIBRATION DATE
AND VENT FOR 10 MINUTES
 WHILST WAITING I COULD CHECK ALL BLADES ARE IN STOP
POSITION 97 DEGREES ON KEYPAD MENU 2 PAGE 3
 AFTER THE 10 MINUTES CLIP BACK ON TO HOOK ON POINT AND
CLIMB IN TO HUB , ONCE INSIDE REMOVE HOOK ON POINT
 CLOSE ALL THREE 108 VALVES AND POST CAUTON NOTICES
 CLIP BACK ON TO HOOK ON POINT AND CLIMB OUT OF HUB, UN
HOOK WHEN CLEAR.
 LEAVE O2 METER IN HUB
 GO BACK TO AWP AND FILL IN 108 VALVE SECTION , SIGNING
SIGNATURE CHECKPOINT DATE AND TIME
 THEN COMPLETE PRECAUTIONS SECTIONS SAYING ALL CONTROL
MEASURES ARE IN PLACE AND PRECAUTIONS TO ESTABLISH
SAFETY FROM SYSTEM ARE IN PLACE.
