POMODORO

Pomodoro Technique is one of the most effective methods I know that works well based
on my own experienced. I improved a lot on managing my time efficiently and it avoids piling of
things to do. It is a simple technique to deal with procrastination. For this technique, you need to
focus on your work for 25 minutes and diffuse for 5 minutes or focused for 45 minutes and rest
for 10 minutes and after that, you give yourself a reward of anything pleasurable. The reward can
be watching TV, playing a game or anything that you like to eat or to do. After the reward, you
again resume your work and focus on it for the next minutes. This set-up works well with me and
I am planning to use this everyday to manage my time effectively.

DAY 15 (October 4,2021)

First, I create and prioritize a list of all the things I need to accomplish. I started my night by
studying my Intermediate Accounting 1 for my quiz the next day. I list the chapters that I need to
study. I love a good-to-do list because it gives me satisfaction once I finished the things I wrote
there. I used the 45 minutes focused mode and 10 minutes diffused mode four times. After that, I
reward myself by watching a k-drama.

DAY 16 (October 5,2021)

During the sixteenth day, I used my time to study my other subjects. I study for my Principles
and Methods of Teaching Accounting. I browse and read some materials and viewed the
uploaded videos as a preference for our topic. I used the 25 minutes focused mode and 5 minutes
diffused mode. I repeat the method thrice. At the end of my Pomodoro, I took a minute to write
down everything that I have accomplished.

DAY 17 (October 6,2021)

I started my night routine by using the Pomodoro Technique on my Accounting research. Before
knowing the Pomodoro, whenever I am doing something, I tend to forgot the things that I should
also finish and I spent the whole night just focusing on one subject. With Pomodoro, it empowers
me to take control of my time. It allows me to plan things I should do that day. So for today, I
used the 45 minutes focused mode and 10 minutes diffused mode in studying my Intermediate
Accounting subject. I repeat the method twice. After that, I reward myself with the things I like
to eat just like fruits or snacks.

DAY 18 (October 7,2021)

My routine for the past days are just the same. I spent most of my time studying on my subjects
and do my activities. With Pomodoro, I was able to merged my studies and personal tasks
throughout the day. I was able to get so much work done in each Pomodoro. I started my night
by going through my book on Intermediate Accounting and review some important parts that I
know will be included in our quiz the following day. I used the 45 minutes focused mode and 10
minutes diffused mode for four repetitions. After that I took a longer break and reward myself
with treats just like candies and chocolates.

DAY 19 (October 8,2021)

I did well with my quiz thanks to the Pomodoro technique which allows me to study with my
subjects effectively and efficiently. During the night, I spent my time browsing on uploaded
materials in our google classroom to help me be ready for tomorrows discussion on my
Accounting Information System and Statistical Analysis subject. I used the 25 minutes focused
mode and 5 minutes diffused mode twice on Accounting Information System subject. I also used
the same method on my Statistical Software subject.

DAY 20 (October 9,2021)

My morning class was cancelled and we were just given activities to do. After eating my lunch, I
started studying for my Accounting Information subject at 5:00 pm. I used the 25 minutes
focused mode and 5 minutes diffused mode twice. Later that night, I answered the given activity
on my Statistical Software subject and viewed some videos as basis on our lectures.

DAY 21 (October 10,2021)

I decided to use this day to let my brain and body rest. I let it rest to focus on my physical and
mental health. I let my body replenish for the whole day to have more energy for the next days.
To sum it all up, I really love how Pomodoro Technique give me the time I want for
myself as well as time for my studies. It works really well in managing things I should do or
finish. I decided to use this technique in the future. Pomodoro Technique stopped me form over
thinking things and stopped me from beating myself for not pushing forward on my goals. It
allows me to control my time the way I wanted and the way I know will help me.
