Monggo Di MANGGA-in – Farmer's Day Festival 2021

A. Background
Cultural diversity and customs also have a significant impact on the level of cultural diversity
of the Indonesian nation. Automatically, this diversity also includes various types of
traditional culinary foods which are one of the cultural treasures that must be re-excavated as
a cultural asset. This needs to be done to balance the invasion of foreign culinary and culinary
franchise models as the impact of free markets and globalization.
As a cultural product that must be diverse, knowledge about the diversity of types of food
must be introduced to the younger generation of Indonesia in various ways, including through
special events that are currently supported by Indonesian culture. The young generation of
Indonesia as the successor of the nation's sustainability and as an element of society, has a
moral burden to maintain all these cultural assets, so that they are maintained and become a
characteristic that cannot be separated from the existence of the Indonesian state in the
future. The lack of knowledge of the younger generation about traditional culinary diversity,
especially in the Lebak community itself is also a concern of this event. This is because many
young people and most people are not aware that some of their daily behavior also affects the
preservation of Indonesian culture, especially in Lebak Regency.
Considering that traditional culinary is currently rife in the community and efforts are being
made to protect it, STKIP students Setia Budhi Rangkasbitung and the Lebak Regency
Tourism Office will hold a Culinary Academy bazaar as one of the government's and
community's efforts to participate in developing Lebak cuisine.Lebak has a variety of natural
and cultural tourist attractions including its special foods that need to be served in activities in
the form of festivals or bazaars.
Therefore, through the Culinary Academy activity, one of the series of agenda activities is the
