Upon request of Mr Yar Ahmad born in Gujrat (Pakistan) on 11/08/1997, we communicate that
the abovementioned student requested a pre-evaluation to check his eligibility for the master
degree course in Engineering for natural risk management during a.y. 2020/2021. The
abovementioned course is entirely taught in English and the student forwarded the documents
concerning his previous university degree by e-mail to the competent course board for evaluation.

We confirm that the student’s background appears to be in line with the requirements for admission
to the course. He will be eligible for enrollment when he obtains his final title of bachelor
degree.

We also inform that our University did not verify the authenticity of the documents submitted.

The student is aware that:

- this document must be submitted to the competent Italian Diplomatic or Consular Authority
during the university pre-enrolment procedure and cannot replace the said procedure;
- this document cannot be used to claim or obtain automatically the visa for study, which
must be issued only by the competent Diplomatic or Consular Authority;
- this document is not an admission letter: the enrolment procedures will be completed only
after the visa issue and after verification of the documents authenticity. More specifically, in
order to obtain enrolment, the student must submit the following documents:

 Bachelor degree (original or certified photocopy), authenticated by the Italian Diplomatic or


Consular Authority in the country where the degree was obtained.
 Official translation in Italian (provided by the Italian Diplomatic or Consular Authority in
the country where the bachelor degree was obtained, or by an official translator and
confirmed by the Authority itself, or validated by an Italian Court; not required if the
document is provided in English, French, Spanish or Portuguese)
 “Dichiarazione di Valore” (in original) provided by the Italian Diplomatic or Consular
Authority in the country where the degree was obtained.
 Certificate (original) with a detailed list of all the teaching units and exams taken to obtain
the degree, authenticated by the Italian Diplomatic or Consular Authority in the country
where the degree was obtained. The transcript must contain the grades, credits and hours
of classes.
 Official translation in Italian of the above mentioned document (not required if the
certificate is provided in English, French, Spanish or Portuguese).
 Course contents and study programmes of the teaching units included in your foreign
curriculum, duly certified by the University (only if required by the course evaluators)

The student is aware that the admission to a master degree course depends on the competent
Course Board official approval. The student will get enrolled after positively passing the entrance
test.

After his arrival in Genoa, Mr Yar can enjoy a free service of help for accommodation research
offered by the University and he will also have the possibility to make a request of scholarship and
accommodation in the University residences to ALiSEO (Regional Agency for Students and
Tutoring).
