INTELLECT Core:
INTELLECT Core is a web-based proprietary product of Polaris Software Lab that automates the
'Core' functions of a bank. The product caters to both Retail and Corporate segments in the
following areas - relationship opening, upgrades and closures, transaction and deposit products
booking, various account servicing activities like local & foreign fund transfers, cheque collections
& payments, teller transactions, travelers' cheque, debit cards and standing orders. The task
involves the maintenance of the PVCS database, Installation of the database, User administration,
backup and recovery, troubleshooting, reports generation. The other important task involves
performance of build and release management for the Intellect Suite.

Responsibilities:

Build and Version Management:

 Implementing CM process and refining continuously
 Various trouble shooting activities in PVCS
 Complete PVCS administration
 Setting up Build and Test environments
 Build management implementation and deployment of releases across different test
environments
 Scheduling releases, deployment and rollback of releases in various environments

fixing) of this application will be done by OSS Development team.
The scope of this maintenance project is
Development of approved change requests created by business teams (Personal, Enterprise ,
Global , Network , Home etc)
Fixing defects raised by Business, SIT, SAT, UAT and Operations team.
