    INTRODUCTION

    Project ANI, Alignment of Nutritious Food Intake was derived


    from Gulayan sa Paaralan (GPP) program. GPP was launched by
    the Department of Education (DepEd) in partnership with the
    Department of Agriculture (DA) to promote the value of school
    gardening as a contribution to the School-Based Feeding Program
    (SBFP) and to raise awareness to have locally grown vegetables
    and crops that will benefit the community.
    At this time that the country is still facing the Covid pandemic,
    which brought about a negative impact to the economy,
    educational programs about awareness on the importance of good
    nutrition to one's health and highlights how a vegetable garden
    can be economically beneficial to the family by producing their
    food.
    Integrity and Compassion to Service
    The harvested (pechay, mustasa, radish, okra, eggplants,
    tomatoes and malunggay leaves) was distributed to the
    parents of feeding beneficiaries during milk distribution
    regularly. It proves that pandemic is not a hindrance in
    giving the best nutrition to our school children most
    especially to our school-based feeding program beneficiaries.
    Project ANI can be considered as one of the important
    projects in the school since it contributes nutritional needs
    and responds to the DepEd advocacy on providing aligned
    nutritious food in take for the feeding beneficiaries.

    OBJECTIVE

    1. Sustain the Gulayan sa Paaralan for the benefit of


    the learners and for the beautification of the school
    surrounding.

    2. Provide a source of healthy foods for the School-


    Based Feeding Program in form of vegetables
    being planted in different areas of the school.

    3. Promote support coming from 4ps and other


    stakeholders for a successful Gulayan sa
    Paaralan.
