PIECE ONE
-1 this piece is called Caribbean life and its people- beach life. This piece was based on the beautiful
skies of the Caribbean that reflect on the beautiful waters. The materials used to create this piece

were: oil paints, pens, markers, chalk pastels and water-colored pencils.

This piece also symbolizes the purity of the ocean skies. It shows that the ocean and sky come together
and become one which is demonstrated in this piece and the people of the Caribbean can come
together and live in harmony and enjoy the beauty of nature.
PIECE TWO
#2 in painting and mixed media. Fruit bowl. In this piece it shows a fruit bowl completed with a variety
of Caribbean fruits all over the Caribbean. This piece shows fruits like: dragon fruit, pois doux (paddoo),
ackee, oranges, portugals, chennette, rambutans, soursop and cashew apples.

Materials used to complete this piece is: paint, chalk pastels, markers, tooth picks and color pencils.

PIECE THREE
#3 this piece called countries among water. This piece was inspired by the atlas book that showed many
countries all over the world. This shows the countries with their national flowers and or instruments.

GRAPHIC AND COMMUNICATION
PIECE ONE
#1 this piece is a poster and was inspired but Caribbean folklore. The creatures are the Dwen, La
jabless, Papa bois and Anasi. This poster shows a play that was created by a school that is being
showcased in a theater.

PIECE TWO
#2 the ticket for the play. The ticket was made for the play that goes together with the poster
advertising for the play. It shows the Dwen in the corner of the ticket in the bush awaiting his next victim

#3 this piece shows a story book cover with the La jabless. The cover of the book shows the title and
whom made/written the book. This is also showed that the art club created the cover for the book.
