Title of the professional development activities


Time Management for really busy people – one day course
Overview of the activities
In this flash course, the presenter talked a lot about the time management strategies.
They include how to overcome the procrastination, how to manage tasks based on their
urgency and importance or how to create efficient to do lists.
Who presented/delivered the activities?
Wendy Jocum. She is a HR specialist with experience in training, coaching and
organizational psychology.
Dates: August 23, 2020
Time: 9:30am to 3:30pm
Duration: 5 hours
What did you most like about the professional development opportunities?
What I do love from this one day course is that the presenter shared her experience as a
HR specialist and a trainer to tell about the common mistake in time management so that
I can avoid.
What did you least like?
The one thing I don’t like from this course is that there was a bit overwhelming
information in just one day due to the timeframe of this course.

Provide an overview of what you learnt:


This course provided me a large amount of knowledge, skills, and strategies to improve my
time management. The presenter explained people’s time managing behaviors based on
the psychology knowledge which helped me understand about the root of time
management. After the course, I am now more confident in managing my own tasks as
well as assigned task.
Would you recommend these activities to others?
I would recommend this activity for my friends who have similar problem as me in time
managing or ones who have been procrastinators.

What did you most like about the professional development opportunities?
What I love the most from this workshop was that I was able to see the insight into the
B2B marketing from the viewpoint of an insider so that I can strengthen my understanding
in this field.
What did you least like?
I expected a real-time example of the presenter’s company that it has to deal with now
and how to solve it. He, however, mentioned more about the overall situation with other
company’s challenges
Provide an overview of what you learnt:
The workshop gave me a big picture of the B2B marketing. I learned about the trend in
the B2B section marketing, the emerging challenges as well as how do deliver better
results in marketing with in-depth explanation.
Would you recommend these activities to others?
I would highly recommend this activity for those who also have interest in the B2B
marketing.
