SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY

That I, LARY T. PIOLO, married, of legal age, Filipino citizen, and residing at Libo-o, Dingle,
Iloilo, Philippines, have named, appointed and constituted, and by these presents do hereby name,
appoint and constitute my cousin, MARLON P. PIOLO, of legal age, Filipino, married and a resident of
32-B Main Ave., Brgy. Socorro, Cubao, Quezon City, as my true and lawful Attorney-in-Fact, for me
and in my name, place and stead, to do and perform the following acts and things, TO WIT:

1. To TRANSACT, PROCESS, and FACILITATE, the authentication and affixing of the

Red Ribbon seal on my NSO Certificates of Live Birth and Marriage by the Department of
Foreign Affairs, Manila, for my use in obtaining my Brazilian VISA to enable me to enter and
board my ship and work in Brazil as a seaman; and

2. To FILL OUT and SIGN any and all forms and papers necessary and proper and
PAY the corresponding fee/s thereto, relative to the foregoing transaction.

HEREBY GIVING AND GRANTING unto my said Attorney-in-Fact, full power and authority
whatsoever requisite or necessary or proper to be done in and about the premises as fully to all intents
and purposes as I might or could lawfully do if I am personally present with power of substitution and
revocation, and hereby ratifying and confirming that all that my said Attorney-in-Fact or his substitute
should lawfully do or cause to be done under and by virtue of these presents.
