1. Critically discuss in detail the following areas;
company management approaches, leadership style,

your chosen company from the group task.
Part B: reflection on teamwork dynamics
2. Conflicts and cultural differences among your team
members. How did you overcome these?
3. Your leadership experience of your team throughout
the term, and its effectiveness.
4. Belbin roles you observed in your team members.
5. Your areas of strengths as a team worker and areas that
need development in the future.
Please support your arguments with the relevant theories
and literature.
Other information Your research

1. Make sure you cite and reference all your sources of

research using the APA referencing style.

2. Use at least five different sources of information in your

research (credible websites, journals, books, and peer
reviewed academic papers).

3. You should be using sources from your textbook and the

e-library and/or other relevant information sources such
as the module resource list where you will find various
articles and books in your recommended reading list.

Please do not use any non-credible sources in your

research.
Assignment Structure
Portfolio Structure: Following the below the structure to organise your report.
 Anonymous coversheet (as attached in your assessment section)
 Title Page, including your module title, code and assessment name
 Contents Page (ensure this is done correctly and formatted professionally)
 Executive summary (give a brief summary of what your whole report is about)
 Introduction (introduce your topic, which is a reflection on your personal experience
working in global diverse team).
 Main body, which should also be organised under appropriate headings.

Part A: Company culture

1. Using theory covered from week 1-5, critically discuss in detail the following
areas of your chosen company from the group task; company management
approaches, leadership style, organisational culture and employee motivation.
Part B: reflection on teamwork dynamics
2. Conflicts and cultural differences among your team and how you overcame
these conflicts (you can use Hofstede, Hall, Trompanaars, Toomey's
mindfulness theory etc. to support your argument here, as appropriate).
3. Your leadership experience and its effectiveness ( you can use Leadership styles
and theories such as Autocratic, Democratic, Laissez-faire, Transformational,
Transactional, trait theory, behavioural theory, etc. to support your argument,
as appropriate).
4. Belbin roles you observed in your team and yourself (use Belbin model to
explain which role you observed in yourself and your team and why? and how
you complemented each other as a team?).
5. Your strengths and opportunities for development.
 Conclusion (Summarise what you have discussed in the entire report including; topics
of discussion and findings/results. Include remarks on what have you learned from this
experience).
 Reference list (list all your references here APA style, and ensure that you have cited
all these references in the body of your report).

Your work should be word processed in accordance with the following:
 Font style, Arial, font size 12.
 1.5 line spacing.
 The page orientation should be ‘portrait’
 Margins on both sides of the page should be no less than 2.5 cm
 Pages should be numbered
 Your name should not appear on the script.
 Your student number should be included on every page.
