Terms & Conditions (Technical - NDT)

1. Scope of Work - CIMEC Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

• Mobilization of Men and Equipment at site.
• Conducting the test.
• Demobilization of Men and Equipment from site.
2. Arrangements required from Client at site
• Preparation of test location at site which includes removal of plaster and clear the area after testing.
• Movement & Arrangement of stairs/scaffoldings (if required) at Site.
• Other safety arrangements (as per site requirement).
• Supply of electricity for conducting test.

3. SITE CONDITION: Site shall be workable approachable & free from any dispute. Written confirmation that access
permission has been given by the relevant Government Departments, statutory authorities, maintenance parties,
owners and/or occupiers to enter the site and to carry out the works must be provided in writing. Work execution at
this particular location is subject to site clearance or shifting of given location to nearby accessible point.
4. A meeting should be held jointly between the representatives from Clients CIMEC to assess the site conditions,
confirmation of locations of the investigation will be done by measurement by tape any survey demarcation of points
will be charged extra.

Terms & Conditions (Common)

5. The rates quoted above are valid for total of 8 working hours (excluding travel time) per day. Additional working hours
shall be charged separately as per rates mentioned.
6. ISSUE OF WORKS ORDERS/SERVICES ORDERS: A draft copy of WO/SO shall be discussed with CIMEC before
finalization. Confirm work order shall be required as your confirmation of OFS and further processing of mobilization
and carrying out Test in accordance with Work Order.
7. INSTRUCTIONS UNDER THE CONTRACT: All instructions to the term/service contractors should be made in
writing. No verbal instructions from the client/consultant on even minor variations in the specification of works as

 above unless the instructions are confirmed in Written. For major variations to the works/service, i.e. those that
significantly increase or decrease the value of a WO/SO, the ER/IO must always be consulted.
8. SUBMISSION OF PRELIMINARY RECORDS AND FINAL REPORTS: Reports forwarded to Client shall be reviewed
within seven working days of receipt of each set of records/report. If there is no comment, within the prescribed
period. It would assume that there is no comment.
9. TAXES: GST will be charged extra upon the quoted rates as per Govt. Norms. Any exemption in GST will have to be
provided in writing along copy of exemption certificate.
10. IDLE CHARGES: Idling shall be charged (Mobilization + minimum testing charges per day as per clause 11) in

case testing team returns without test due to reasons associated to site clearance or non-availability of site
person.
11. MINIMUM WORK VALUE: Minimum work value per day each site visit shall be charged as under:

12. PAYMENT TERMS: Bill shall be raised after completion of field work and Payment of entire bill shall be made against
before issuance of report. Report shall be issued only after the payment.
