ONLINE MONITORING ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SCHOOL-BASED

FEEDING PROGRAM – MILK FEEDING COMPONENT FOR SY 2020-2021

1. Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum No. 023, s. 2020 entitled “Operational Guidelines

on the Implementation of the School-Based Feeding Program for School Year
2020-2021” and DepEd Memorandum No. 022, s. 2020 entitled “Additional
Provisions and Amendments to DepEd Order No. 036, s. 2019”, and in
consideration of the changes brought about by the pandemic, the implementation of
the SBFP shall be modified, putting utmost importance to the welfare, safety and
health of learners and personnel involved, while ensuring the attainment of the
program objectives.

2. As the provisions of Pasteurized Milks to all Kindergarten and identified beneficiaries

through rationing, started on May 31, 2021, progress monitoring shall be conducted
to assess the efficiency of the implementation of the program, following the safety
food standards and complying to health standards.

3. All school feeding coordinators must fill out the online monitoring tool every Friday
on or before 12:00 pm to give time for consolidation and assessment of the
implementation and gather feedback from parents particularly on the food distribution
and food consumption of the beneficiaries. Each school will send a collage picture to
their respective district feeding coordinators as proof to their implementation every
week.

4. Nurse assigned per district shall monitor and submit the consolidated data to Division
SBFP TWG on a weekly basis.
