Role Market Intelligence Analyst

 Provide searches and data for the deliveries of Global Market Intelligence support
function to SLT, Strategy & Innovation and Global Commercial Stakeholders
 Ensure insight from external customer data enabling data-driven decision making
 Provide processes and adequate file structuring systems for the deliveries of main tasks

Main tasks

Strategy
• Provide support for Quarterly Competitor Analysis
• Provide analysis for M&A support (long list, short list, company profiling etc.)
Areas of responsibility
• Provide support for key leading indicators (mega and macro-trends, including key
and tasks parameters pricing trends, opportunity pipeline trends etc.)
• Provide support for on-demand projects

Market Intelligence
• Provide market analyses and forecasting (internal and external)
• Technology scouting
• Provide searches and data for business Plan support
• Provide searches and data for on demand market intelligence projects (regional
requests)
• Validate 3rd party data

 Analytic mindset in regards of finding and evaluating the relevant data


 Accountability in regard of deliveries
 Good business acumen
 Capable of handling 3rd party business intelligence data and securing alignment on
deliveries from 3rd parties
Competencies  Have excellent stakeholder management skills
 Have excellent online research skills
 Have excellent communication skills (written & oral both) and presentation skills
 Have basic knowledge of scientific databases (e.g. Sciencedirect, Scopus etc.)
 Are capable of working independently, but still a team player
 Basic understanding of chemical and refinery processes.
 Have good understanding of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint

 You have a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in chemical engineering, or a related


field with having an experience of 0 – 3 years. We encourage new graduates to apply,
however industrial experience is an advantage. Understanding of intellectual property
Qualifications & Skills rights (IPR), licensing, market intelligence as well as experience from similar business is
considered an advantage.
