2.The teacher will demonstrate the dance steps with the pattern and counting in 2 4
time signature.

3. Students will interpret and demonstrate the dance steps in 2 4 time signature. With
the patterns and counting.

4. Give them time to practice to memorize the dance steps with the pattern and
counting.

What is time signature?

Time signature is musical notation for the way notes are arranged into measures.

Example : 2 , 3, 4

¨ 4 4 4

The top number represents the number of beats (or notes) measure of music and the bottom
number represents the value of those beats.

¨ 2 4 signature
¨ 2 means= two quarter notes or two counts
¨ 4 means= quarter notes will receive one beat
¨ Counting and clapping
¨ Example:
¨ 1, 2….. 1&, 2..
