2. PRESENTACION

Every English learner knows how to talk about general things of common topics. In this guide you will learn
about specific matters in your speciality. You will have the opportunity to improve your grammar skills by
doing some specific activities. Remember you must try to write your own sentences and be aware of your
weaknesses and strengths in order to improve your language skills.

There are different structures, in this guide we are going to work on present tenses and basic vocabulary,
we use the present, and continuous tenses to express, retell and introduce or describe actions in a simple
and easy way, so that we can broaden our English level and improve the language skills thus improving our
language acquisition and level.

AN ICE HOTEL

Hôtel de Glace is an ice hotel. It is near Quebec City, Canada. The ice hotel is open every winter from
January to March. This man-made hotel takes about six weeks to build.
The ice hotel has ice sculptures, ice bars, and an ice chapel. Even the glasses for your drinks are made of
ice! There is also a skating path, an ice slide, and a hot tub. You can visit or stay at the ice hotel. The rooms
have beds made of ice. There are warm blankets and sleeping bags. Some rooms also have a fireplace.
Hôtel de Glace is not the only ice hotel. There are other ice hotels in Finland, Norway, Sweden, and other
