Flower

Ch 54, turn.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd chain from hook, *ch4, sk 1 ch, sc in next ch;
rep from * to end of row, turn. [26 ch-4 sps]
Row 2: Ch 7, sc in first sc , *c6, sc in next sc; rep from * to the
end of row. [26 ch-6 sps, 1 ch-7 sp]

Break yarn leaving a 12” tail for sewing. This will look curly.
Beg at the end with the yarn tail, roll and stitching the flower
together as you go. This will create a frilly flower. Leave ends for
tying onto the headband.

Head Band
Ch 9, turn.
Set-up Row: Sc in each ch across, turn. [8 sc]
Row 1: Ch 1, sc in each sc across, turn. Rep Row 1 until piece
measures desired length for the headband.

Finishing
Fold in half so ends are together, and work into both ends as
follows: ch 1, sl st in next st across. Fasten off.
