MELC: Executes the skills involved in the dance.
PART I.

A. Introduction
Cultural dances performed to the strong beats of percussion instruments by a community of people
sharing the same culture usually done in honor of a Patron Saint or thanksgiving of a bountiful harvest.
Festival dances may be religious or secular in nature but the best thing about festivals is that they add to
the merry-making and festivities where they are celebrated, the reason why they are called festival
dances after all.

B. Discussion

Dance Figure of Sinulog Dance


The first figure is performing mincing, point left foot in place, step right in place, point left in place,
Step right in place and second and third dance figure of Sinulog dance is more on kampilan. Kampilan – one
step forward and one step backward, and second figure is kampilan and hands upward and downward. Now,
here are the continuations of Sinulod dance figure.
