At the end of this lesson, the students should be able to:
a. identify the basic steps involved in the Sinulog Festival;
b. explain the importance of festival dancing in one’s healthy lifestyle; and
c. demonstrate the basic steps involved in the Sinulog Festival.

Our energizer has something to do with our
lesson for today. But before we go any further
who wants to enumerate the objectives of our
lesson?
Exactly! So, you are expected to attain these
objectives at the end of this period.
Our objectives are:
a. Identify the basic steps involved in the
Sinulog festival;
b. explain the importance of dancing in
one’s healthy lifestyle: and
c. demonstrate the basic steps involved
in the Sinulog festival.
3. Discussion
Today, we will discuss the five basic steps
involved in the Sinulog festival.

1. Natural Step - two steps forward one step
backward.
2. Kinampilan - one step forward right and
one step backward right while the left foot
stays in place.
3. Side Steps - two close steps sideward,
right and left.
4. Sinulog Turn - spotting the right and left
foot
5. Grapevine - alternate crossing in front and
back.
