After watching the video. Look for other videos about how a wind turbine is inspected for any damage.

1. What inspection technique/method is used to test wind turbine integrity according to the video you
just watched?

They usually do to maintain the functionality of a wind turbine is changing oil, changing filters,
and also testing the bolts because it’s very crucial and if the bolt is loosened it is having a big and bad
consequence that may happen.

2. Are there any special skill needed to become a wind turbine technician? Discuss it here.

First, have no fear in height because wind turbine is located between 267 to 305 feet (81 to 93
meters). Second, have a basic knowledge in safety because safety is a fundamental requirement that
you should know before you deploy in the field. Third, they have understood electricity at its base form
because wind turbine generates electricity. Forth, they need to master programming controllers, digital
electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and communication skills.
