“Mimicking a Portrait: A Restoration and


Understanding of the Past”

1. For your second examination, you are tasked to mimic a famous portrait from
a renowned national or international artist.
2. You are encouraged to observe and follow the painting components like the
lighting, color, perspective, etc.
3. You must be resourceful and creative in your presentation by not spending any
single amount; instead, utilizing available resources at home like costume,
props, make-up, lights, and background.
4. In an A4-sized paper, place your portrait (should appear exactly like the
example above) and provide an 8 sentence paragraph description below
discussing your understanding of the painting.
5. In your description, you are NOT allowed to check the painting’s historical
background. Therefore, your analysis shall be based only on a close-looking.
