The Bible and Salvation History
Activity:

1. Do you think you can still consider the whole creation today as beautiful as
it was during the first creation story?
God created heaven and earth, the sea and everything that our naked eyes
observed. It was a beautiful craft not until inhumane behaviour existed. Things become
complicated; thousands of trees are down to establish a building, animals are becoming
extinct, and global warming worsens. It dramatically affects the creation of God. God
also created us, the humans, but we just ended being sinners on our own. The creation
account does not describe the product of the world in terms of being made out of
nothing but in words of beauty and order being made out of a chaotic mess. As time
passes by, things become more different than what we imagine. It is not as wonderful
as the last time we notice, and we all know that humans are the reason behind it.

2. Do you see God’s hands still working in creation?

God's hand is a symbol of His instruction, guidance, and also discipline. As we
acknowledge the hand of God, the greater we will be able to follow His guide. Through
the study of God's Wisdom, a strong prayer life, and an abiding trust in God, we can
learn to recognize, be confident, and enjoy the hand of God moving in our lives. The
hand of God does not mean the literal part of the body. Instead, a father lovingly guides
and patiently disciplines a child with the hand, so are we guided by the hand of God.
Often when we are going through a challenging or confusing time, we are unaware of
how God is teaching us. Years later, it becomes evident why God brought us through
that experience the way He did. A time of trial will never be as easy as others expected.
Nevertheless, there are many moments where a struggle is looked upon as the most
meaningful spiritual time in a person's life.

3. At present, what can you do in order to share that role of the first man and
woman?
“God made men and women with equally. They have the same dignity, freedom, and
intellectual capacity.” Both were made in God’s image  but had physical and hormonal
differences”. These differences “are never an excuse to promote prejudices against
women. The Bible condemns inequality and violence against women and informs us
that God made men and women with equal dignity, freedom, rights and intellectual
capacity”. The central figure of the Bible and Christianity, Jesus Christ, is the primary
model. “He came to restore the creational structures and dignified the woman. This can
be clearly seen in the gospels. He faced religious people and rulers of his time and
stood up for woman. In Jesus there is no censorship or repression for women.”

4. How do we perform our roles in relation with what the Lord intended us to
be in the story of creation?
Why did God create us? What are the roles indicated for each of us? What are the
responsibilities beholds us, the human beings? We as humans need to serve our Maker
by obediently carrying out whatever task He has entrusted us with. Serving implies
responsibility, so that’s where our commitment to God comes heavily into play. The core
basis of how God operates is leadership concerning His creation, who can do His will. It
means that each side has to ensure that they assume their fault. Responsibility is to be
taken very seriously, not to be left by making up excuses. Truthfully, reasons should
never become a substitute for accountability. Seeing that we are human beings, we may
be struggling in some areas in our lives concerning assuming specific duties. We have
to let God lead and guide us throughout that situation to accomplish what God is
ordering us to do. Our failure to do so or our reasons will not make God change His
mind about what He wants us to do.

5. Are we convinced that all creation of God is good? How do we

show/express this conviction?
"God saw, and it was good," the Bible says. Genesis 1 shows how God created the
world. He speaks all things into existence, such as light, air, water, earth, plants,
animals and everything. When he decided to make the good one, he intended to reflect
and show His incredible creation by its character, power, and nature itself.  It is said that
the original design is created through the measurement of God's plan.  It was followed
regarding his plan. It was precisely the sort of quality He desired. It could only reflect His
character, power and nature because it could not do that. Even after sin came into the
world, with its corrupting power and influence, the fundamental goodness of creation
remained! Sin might distort the integrity of the product, but it can't make what God has
said untrue. Creation is still good in the hands of God, and it still serves its purpose of
proclaiming His glory in the world. As one of God's people, it is my responsibility to
preserve it, even as it groans for its final restoration when Jesus returns to make all
things new.
