    Contractor submits a cofferdam submittal on how they are going to construct the
    cofferdams within the stream. Review it as per locations shown on Contract plans.
    The Submittal should include step by step procedure of installation and maintenance.

    Send the submittal to the Environmental Group for review and approval.
    Review submittal and ensure proper installation of cofferdams, as per approved
    plans.

    Ensure that dewatering bags be placed within State ROW and away from the stream
    with silt fence around it. Check dewatering bags throughout the day to ensure proper
    use and check for any breaks in the bag.

    Check for dirty water throughout the day at outlet. If any issues, inform contractor
    ASAP to fix cofferdam system so clean water is returning to stream.
    Payment made on cofferdams as per items specified in plans.Section 553 of
    Standard Specifaications.
