1. What attributes or benchmarks can be used to measure a company’s market performance,


like Twitter?

It is important to always check the company’s market performance as this the


indicator if the company is thriving. The value proposition, revenue model, market
opportunity, competitive environment, competitive advantage, marketing strategy,
organizational development, are the key attributes that can be used to measure the
performance of a company. Value proposition refers to the features, why consumers should
buy a company’s product. Revenue model refers to the process on how companies generate
profit. The market opportunity defines the target market of a company. Competitive
environment talks about the competitors of one’s business. The competitive advantage can
differentiate a firm from its competitors. It’s the factor that makes a business stand out from
others. Market strategy involves the promotional strategies of a company’s product. The
organizational development are the processes from the organization, within the company,
and lastly, the management team refers to the qualities that a team must have to maintain
the life of a business.

2. Which are the most valuable things on Twitter?


 Different kind of interaction process – Twitter takes a unique approach of interaction
compared to other social networking sites, as users can tweet under 280 characters, which
is perfect for users who like to read short but concise messages.
 Source of Latest news – Twitter is considered to be the largest source of news. The
latest and trending information, whether it’s about a particular event, place, or a person,
can be found on Twitter, first.
 Trend System – Twitter sells its public data called Firehose that can be utilized by data
analysts and generate consumer trends, and this will make users aware of what is
happening nowadays.
 Content Sharing & Promotion – Twitter allows users to share their content, whether it’s
a video, photo or just texts, and users have the freedom to promote their tweets in Twitter,
to increase engagement from other users.
 More Profit Gain from Content Creators – creators who love to share their videos,
through Twitter can be monetized. Once the contents are monetized, Twitter gives a 70%
cut to content creators, and the rest, to the company, which is higher compared to Youtube,
since they only give their creators a 55% cut, and this is a competitive advantage of Twitter.
