In this course the student will learn and acquire knowledge on different types of natural and
manufactured fibre, the characteristics, the uses and the esthetical values of the fibre. Students will
also learn to identify and present the usage of International fabric care labels.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

1.   Classify the different sources, characteristics, usages and aesthetical values of fibre. (C3, PLO3)
2.   Produce a collection of fabric sample. (P2, PLO6)
3. Explain the usage of International fabric care labels through presentation. (A2, PLO4)
