2020 ANNUAL HIGH SCHOOL DAYS GENERAL
GUIDELINES FOR THE GRADE LEVEL COMPETITIONS
1. The Grade Level Organizations will have the sole responsibility for their respective class
organizations.
2. All contested events must showcase the theme of the 2020 Annual High School Days.
The theme is: “Mannanayun CNHS: Mabbalo-balo ta Nakasta nga Nabbalinan na”.
3. Participants should be officially enrolled, thus, bona fide students of this school. In the
event that the participant/s is/are determined as unenrolled in this institution, the group
shall be disqualified.
4. Should there be any requirements for the contested events, e.g. flash drives for musical
accompaniment, participants shall submit the requirement/s five (5) days before the
contest proper. Failure or delay of submission shall incur corresponding demerits. The
participating grade level shall be deducted one (1) point for every day of delay.
5. For contested events that require extensive practice, e.g. dance competitions, participants
are discouraged to attend weekend and outside-school rehearsals. The Supreme
Student Government shall not be held liable for any untoward incident that may
occur during the practices.
6. The deadline for the submission of participants, except for the Kalesa painting, shall be
passed by the grade level organizations on March 18, 2020.

8. The decision of the Board of Judges is final and irrevocable.
9. The order of performances shall be determined through draw lots. The resulting order
shall be carried on throughout all the events.
10. Each grade level will be assigned to an element, based on their team color, which shall
be their symbolism and grade level representation.
A. KALESA PAINTING
GRADE LEVEL ELEMENT
Grade 7 Earth 1. Each grade level must send one (1) group composed of four (4) to six (6) members.
The group may be composed of all males or females, or any combination thereof.

B. BANNER CREATION CONTEST C. STEP UP

J. POWER DANCE DUO K. TAGISAN NG KARUNUNGAN / CNHS QUIZ SHOW

2. Each participant must design and display a booth in order to
promote and showcase their respective departments or clubs. Grade
level organizations must follow and incorporate the elements assigned to them. (Refer
to General Guidelines).
3. Students and teachers of the institution may help in the preparation
of the booths.
4. Location of booths will be assigned by the SSG and will be handed three days before
the event, no booth must stay within the CNHS Quadrangle.
5. The tent will be provided by the organization and the booths should be ready a
day before the event.
6. Selling of products and conducting small games/activities in the
booths is allowed. Usage of eco-friendly products to prevent waste is highly
recommended.
7. The booths must be staffed at all times during the event.
8. Cleanliness will be evaluated every now and then which shall affect their points.
M. HIGANTES COMPETITION

1. The grade level class organizations shall create their own Higante or giant which shall
incorporate symbolisms based on their assigned elements, with the addition of Filipino
guardians.
2. It is in the grade level class organization’s discretion on what to utilize as materials for
their Higantes, e.g. recycled materials, seeds, indigenous cloths, etc.
3. The Higantes will be displayed during the whole High School Days 2020. Thus,
structure and strength of the materials and the Higante itself must be considered.
4. The event will be held on, March 24, 2020. The participants will be given the whole
day to finish their Higantes.
