Ang Huling El Bimbo is a song composed by Ely Buendia of

the Philippine pop/rock band Eraserheads. It received extensive airplay after its release by 1996 and
ranked #2 on RX 93.1's "Top 20 OPM requests of 1996". It is the only Tagalog song included in the
band's international compilation album, Aloha Milkyway(1998). The song's music video catapulted the
band's success outside the Philippines by bagging the 'International Viewer's Choice Awards for Asia' at
the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards. Eleandre "Ely" Basiño Buendia is a Filipino musician, writer and
director born on November 2, 1970 who gained fame as guitarist, songwriter and lead vocalist of the
popular Filipino rock band Eraserheads. Widely regarded as one of the most respected music icons in the
country, his compositions gained massive commercial success and universal critical acclaim, topping
various music charts and leaving a legacy in Philippine popular culture. He currently performs as
guitarist and lead vocalist for Apartel.

I commonly use my cellular phone to listen to music but I also use my mother’s laptop when I
am doing my school requirements there. My phone’s brand is Samsung while the laptop is ASUS.
Samsung was founded by Korean, Lee Byung-chul in 1938 as a trading company. The Samsung
Group is a South Korean multinational corporation headquartered in Samsung Town, Seoul. It
comprises numerous affiliated businesses most of them united under the Samsung brand, and is the
largest South Korean business conglomerate. ASUS is a Taiwan-based, multinational computer
hardware and consumer electronics company that was established in 1989. Ever since I was addicted to
music, almost most of my favorite has prices, until I watched on YouTube on how to obtain music
choice for free. I discovered this application, mp3juice.cc where I can download any music I want for
free. You just need a stable internet connection and you can listen to your music choices boundless.

Yes, I buy goods physically from retail outlets. Why? It is because in physical shopping or
buying, you can be more accessible and safer than online shopping which some are scams .By buying
goods physically, you get to use all senses to experience the products .Personal talking to a seller before
buying is better than talking virtually ,and again in this, you can avoid scams. Most specially when
buying products physically, you get to know when it has a warranty unlike some online that when you
received your product, the seller won’t message you back and won’t care about your concern.

Activity 4: Reflection Paper: Reflect on your learning about the conflicting perceptions on globalization. Have
a strong introduction and conclusion and on the body/discussion part, you can put/place subtitles for each topic
to discuss. I want your personal response on the following.
1. Reflect on the things learned about the positive and negative effects of globalization , select a way to
respond to your learning.
2. Review/check ways in which you could respond to globalization and the kinds of activities which are
used for advocacy. How could you make a difference thru individual action?
3. Develop YOUR OWN IDEA for action or response to globalization

Based on the modules that I had read, Globalization is the procedure of global
political, economic, as well as cultural incorporation of countries. It lets the producers and
manufacturers of the goods or products to trade their goods internationally without any constraint. On
the latter part of the discussion, it has the effects of globalization which definitely has both positive and
negative impact on us, people. From what I had read, there are more positive impacts than the negative
one which include only job insecurity and fluctuation in price of products . Positive impacts involves the
significance to education. Individuals participate a central role in the union of talents and skills along
theories of teaching and learning specially teachers and students, models of educational organizations,
key competencies, education research and development, information and communication technologies,
development and use of instructional materials. Without the rapid process of globalization, our mode of
learning in this pandemic is not the way it will used to be. What we bought in the market which came
from other countries, without globalization, this won’t happen.

One way to achieve global partnering is to connect your classroom with the broader vision and
goals of a non-governmental organization working on the issues to which you wish to expose students.
For example, developing micro-loan opportunities for fighting business visionaries around the globe.
Students get cash themselves so as to build up an entrepreneurial project, typically building up an item
or product to offer to their friends. Through successful showcasing - and a lot of math- - students work
in groups to create organizations, the objective being to take care of credits and use benefits to make
loans to people far and wide. Furthermore, teaching globalization can be done by using social media
tools such as YouTube. Showing students a YouTube video of what globalization looks like, what it is
and how it affects their daily life will be most effective than just giving them a textbook. By this, giving
students at least a few text assignments is necessary but to not forget the YouTube videos.

In conclusion, Globalization has made the world into one very small community where we all
interact and relate, learn about other cultures and civilizations different from ours. It is evident that
globalization results in both negative and positive consequences. The society should embrace the
positive and mitigate the negative impacts. Globalization has helped improve the ease of doing business
all around the world and has made the production of goods and services quite easy and affordable but
somehow, it isn’t all good and rosy as it can be argued that Globalization is just westernization as most
cultures and beliefs are being influenced by the western culture and belief and this harms cultural
diversity. Nevertheless, the good of globalization outweighs the bad so globalization is actually a very
good thing and has helped shape the world as we know it. To finish, Globalization is a dynamic process
which involves change, so flexibility among people is a must.
