of Eligibility for Reclassification of Agricultural Lands and
Providing Mechanisms for the Implementation Thereof
•DA AO No. 08 s. 2000, Amending DA AO 37 s. 1999 to
Simplify Land Use Conversion Procedures and Reorganize the
National Technical Evaluation Committee on Land Use
Matters (TECLUM)

•DA AO No. 2 s. 2002, Guidelines for the Implementation of


EO 45 dated Oct. 24, 2001, “Prescribing Time Periods for Issuance
of Housing-Related Certifications, Clearances and Permits, and
Imposing Sanctions for Failure to Observe the Same”
Technical Evaluation Committee on Land Use Matters

• Regional Committee– primarily responsible in the


initial evaluation of sites applied for land use
reclassification based on actual field investigation

•National Committee – primarily responsible in the final


evaluation, make and submit recommendation to OSEC
for final action

• Field investigation report by DA-RFU/RTECLUM
