The last few months have been amazing with iQuanta.

I have just fallen in love with

their unique approach to CAT. The lucidity with which they teach the most difficult
concepts, peer learning, constant motivation and their tricks and shortcuts are enough
to bell CAT. In this post, I would like to elaborate on my experience with iQuanta.

The first day

Like everyone else, I had way too many questions in my mind. Is it worth the price? I am
paying ₹18,000, will I get the best out of it? Why there are so many negative reviews on
social media sites? Is the teaching methodology right? Bla. Bla. Bla.

However, I was welcomed into the team with so much care and affection. They treat
each student equally. They can give attention to every student in the class. I did not feel
left out.

There were around 500 students in my batch. Surprisingly, iQuanta was able to cater to
the needs of each one of us.

The teaching methodology

All the classes of iQuanta are conducted on Facebook. There are pre-recorded videos
that are shared as the class starts. When you are done with the video, the faculty will
post some questions to be solved based on the concepts you just learned. We are
supposed to comment our answer. If anyone has any doubt in between, you can post it
in the group and they will give their best to solve it.

This is how classes are conducted. There are many advantages to this method. Firstly, it
allows you to pace your learning as per your ability. If you are not able to understand
the concept clearly in the first go, you can always come back and watch the video again.
All videos are saved as events on the Facebook page of iQuanta. Secondly, it establishes
a sort of interactive class, where each one of the students, as well as the faculty member,
can participate.

Peer learning

The best part about iQuanta is its Facebook page. There are over 2 Lakh participants in
this group. No matter what time it is, you can always post your doubt in this group and
someone or the other will obviously solve your problem. This group is always alive.

When 10 people are solving the same sum, there is a high probability that they will
solve it in their way. This way you get access to about 5 different ways to solve the same
sum. Not all the processes will be suited for you. But you can always choose the best and
the easiest one.

CAT is an exam of the methods. The questions asked in CAT, needs you to think on your
feet. This way of preparation prepares you for just that. You will have different methods
to solve a particular sum. You will learn the best way to approach a problem. You will be
able to cut short on time spent in the sum.

Mocks

Preparation is not only about learning. You should also test your learning using mocks.
Mocks give you an idea about where are you as compared to others in this race.
However, you should not take mocks too seriously. They are not an indication of how
much you will be able to score in the actual CAT. You should take it as an indication of
how you should go about your preparation.

Some coaching institutes in the industry are famous for making too tough mocks.
However, I disagree with this. There is a different strategy to attempt tough questions
and a different one for a bit easier one. If you are habituated in solving tough questions,
you would end up wasting too much time in easier questions. Mocks should have
balance. Not all the three sections should be tough; some tough, some easy and some
moderate. Even there should be a balance of questions in each section.

iQuanta mocks are designed in the same way. They are on par with the actual CAT exam.
They give the most accurate picture of how you are doing.

The bottom line

In the end, I would like to thank iQuanta for helping me in every minuscule way
possible. You people don't know but you are changing the lives of millions.
