Watch the video clip posted and you will develop an essay regarding your own idea what is the
importance of Art in your life. Answer this in 300-700 words.

Simple creative things can be called ‘art’. Even a grade-schooler has the ability to create.
What I was trying to affirm is that art is for everyone. Each individual conceives their own opinion
and importance on what art is to them. I also believe that some people believe that they are less
artistic because of the norms in our society. If it isn’t good then it is not valid. Also, some people are
gifted with either skills or talent. Either of these categories is where I belong.
The question is What makes art important to me? I presume that there is an invisible outcome
that helps me as the person who am I today. Many will strongly agree with my opinion that art
contributes to my art skills and development. Some might be recognized and some are not. It hones
my abilities as time continues to travel fast. Despite, the fact that I sometimes dislike art because I
feel like I am incompetent. However, the principle of appreciation always hits me hard. It’s part of
my hard work so it must be appreciated.
One another reason why art is important to my life is that it helps me to express my feelings
in various ways. For example, I draw because I am bored, my drawing is beautiful because I am
happy, my artwork is plain because I am less creative. Despite that, Ferris wheel-like feelings and
outcome it makes me at ease because I can express myself so freely without being afraid of being
judged by others.
Moreover, art helps me in visualizing my dreams. We were once asked by our teacher to
draw our dream house, job, place to go, and so on. With the help of art, it inspires me to work hard
and apply the beliefs that I have in life, to achieve everything that I dream.
Furthermore, Art is one of the skills that I must attain. Why? Because it has the benefiting
factors that will help. It will enhance my creative skills, expand my imagination, develop my ability to
work, and prolong my sense of responsibility and discipline.
In conclusion, Art is very crucial to us humans because it suffices and contributes to our
individual growth. It helps me in the simplest way as I see it as it fits. It may be visible or not. As for
me, I value its importance as an individual and a student. Art becomes part of our journey as a
learner from grade school till now that I am a college student. This summarizes how art is part of
our living.
