Ariel: That’s a good question, Federico. I am very careful, so hopefully I won’t ever get a sprained
ankle. But if that happened / happen, I would need to rest for a few days.
Federico: Could that was / be a problem for your training if you had to stop for a while?

Hi Raul,
Thanks for your email. It was great to hear from you, and it’s so exciting that you have a big game coming
up.
So you asked for my advice about training, and I have a few ideas. First, I know there are only two weeks
until the game, but I __does not ________ (not / do) too much training if I were you, especially as it’s
winter now.
The problem is that there is a lot of ice on the ground and if you _____sprained_____ (sprain) your ankle,
you would not be able to train for days. So try and take it easy and do a little at a time.
It ______were not____ (not / be) a bad idea if you asked someone to train with you, too. That way, there’s
more motivation! It’s a shame that your brother Simon doesn’t like sports. If he ___does_______ (do), it
would help you a lot.
The next thing to think about is what you eat. I know you eat meat nearly every day, but it would be great
if you ____changed______ (change) what you eat a bit. If you added some pasta to your meals, the
carbohydrates ______gived____ (give) you a lot of energy for your training.
Well, good luck with it all, and let me know if you need any help!
Best, Haley
