Slide Presentation & Video

Objective
Identify and apply assertive communication techniques to avoid potentially
unsettling communicative situations.  
Instructions
Your group (three people) must create a Word document and include the following
information:

 The situation selected and the problems identified according to Step 1.

 The link to the slide presentation according to Step 2
 The link to your video according to Step 3.

The document also needs to include a cover page with your name, the course, your
group, etc. Send your document through this space, only one document per group.

 Step 1: Below, you can find four (4) different conflictive communicative
situations. Your group needs to select one, and, based on the assertive
communication techniques, identify and list at least two (2) problems
that can be observed.

 Step 2: Using the situation selected, you need to identify at least four (4)
feelings people can experience, based on their expressions and attitudes.
Then the group needs to create a slide presentation (using any online
tool, such as Genial.ly, Slideshare, Google Slides, etc.) to present those
feelings and their descriptions. Use images to illustrate the feelings.
Tip: Use the learn vocabulary and grammar.
 Step 3: Based on the communication problems you identified in the
situation selected, you are going to create a video. In the video, you need
to recreate each conflictive situation and then create a situation where
the difficulty has been overcome, and indicate what assertive
communication technique you used to overcome the difficulty.
Remember, you need to do this per each difficulty you identified.

You can use any video recording device to record yourself. The video must be at
least two minutes long, with good sound and image quality. In case you use
Vocaroo, you just need to get the shareable link. In case you use any other video
recording device, please, upload the video to any cloud storage service (such as
Google Drive) and get the shareable link.

 Step 4: Finally, make sure you meet all the requirements set out in the
evaluation rubric and, then, send your Word document through the “send
your task” button.

Objetivo

Identificar y aplicar técnicas de comunicación asertiva para evitar situaciones comunicativas

potencialmente perturbadoras.

Instrucciones

Su grupo (tres personas) debe crear un documento de Word e incluir la siguiente información:

La situación seleccionada y los problemas identificados según el Paso 1.

El enlace a la presentación de diapositivas según el Paso 2

El enlace a su video de acuerdo con el Paso 3.

El documento también debe incluir una portada con tu nombre, el curso, tu grupo, etc. Envía tu
documento a través de este espacio, solo un documento por grupo.

Paso 1: A continuación, puedes encontrar cuatro (4) situaciones comunicativas conflictivas

diferentes. Su grupo debe seleccionar uno y, con base en las técnicas de comunicación asertiva,
identificar y enumerar al menos dos (2) problemas que se pueden observar.

Situación 1

- ¡Siempre tengo que hacer todo yo solo! Nunca me ayudas.

- ¿Por qué dices eso? Barro y trapeo el piso todos los días.

- Pero me haces sentir mal cuando lo haces de mala gana.

- Sabes que no me gusta hacer las tareas del hogar. Lo siento.

- Vas a ir al cine esta noche.

- Lo siento, ¿puedes repetir, por favor?

- ¿Vas a ir al cine esta noche?

- Sí somos. Si quieres venir tienes que ser puntual porque siempre llegas tarde. No respetas el
tiempo de los demás.

- Sólo olvídalo. no iré

Situación 3

- Oye, ¿qué haces ahí? ¡Ven aquí ahora mismo!

- Estoy terminando mi tarea. Dame un momento, por favor.

- Siempre haces lo que quieres. No tienes ningún respeto por mí.

- No te hagas la víctima.

- ¡Por favor, cállense todos ahora! ¡Estamos en clase!

- Maestro, cuando habla así, la gente se siente tratada como niños.

- Ok, profesor. Siempre tienes razón.

Paso 2: Utilizando la situación seleccionada, debe identificar al menos cuatro (4) sentimientos que
las personas pueden experimentar, según sus expresiones y actitudes. Luego, el grupo debe crear
una presentación de diapositivas (usando cualquier herramienta en línea, como Genial.ly,
Slideshare, Google Slides, etc.) para presentar esos sentimientos y sus descripciones. Utilice
imágenes para ilustrar los sentimientos.

Consejo: Usa el vocabulario y la gramática para aprender.

Paso 3: Con base en los problemas de comunicación que identificó en la situación seleccionada,
creará un video. En el video, debes recrear cada situación conflictiva y luego crear una situación en
la que se haya superado la dificultad, e indicar qué técnica de comunicación asertiva utilizaste para
superar la dificultad. Recuerde, debe hacer esto por cada dificultad que identificó.

Puede usar cualquier dispositivo de grabación de video para grabarse a sí mismo. El video debe
tener una duración mínima de dos minutos, con buena calidad de sonido e imagen. En caso de que
uses Vocaroo, solo necesitas obtener el enlace para compartir. En caso de que utilice cualquier
otro dispositivo de grabación de video, cargue el video en cualquier servicio de almacenamiento
en la nube (como Google Drive) y obtenga el enlace para compartir.

Paso 4: Finalmente, asegúrate de cumplir con todos los requisitos establecidos en la rúbrica de
evaluación y, luego, envía tu documento de Word a través del botón “envía tu tarea”.
