The Controversial Colonies Brochure Assignment

When the colonies were first founded, their existence was a controversial issue over in Europe because of the variety of people who took
ownership of the lands. To do this assignment justice you should consider yourselves a travel agent and promote this area as a desirable
vacation destination. You will be working in a group on this assignment, designated by teacher on an assigned date, and colony choices will be
given to you also by the teacher. The brochure must be made in Microsoft Word, using 18-24 pt. font in your stylistic choice. It must be legible,
and relevant to the topic at hand. We will work on formatting in class, and be prepared to show your work to others. It must be creative and to
the best of your abilities. To derive the information needed for this project please refer to chapters 6,7,and 8 in your text book.

Mandatory Content Aspects in Brochure:

 Geography and Landscape of the Area
 Interactions with Indigenous People (trades, treaties, wars, etc.)
 Economy and Government
 Population Diversities
 Goods and Services
 Any Interesting Facts
