Human health is at risk through our inaction. Since barangay Tahanan has open and uncontained
garbage will provide food for flies, rats and mice, and if the situation persists over time, large
populations of flies and rodents may develop.
LAND USE
Barangay Tahanan is a community that comprises a lot of landmarks that make it distinct and
incomparable to other communities. With this, the resources within the premises can cater to the
needs of the community and will no longer have the hassle of going somewhere far from their
place just to buy things for their homes.
CLIMATE SEASON
Barangay Tahanan has two seasons, dry and wet seasons. During the wet season, the
barangay has to take preventive measures to diseases that they can acquire during this time like
dengue, leptospirosis, flu, colds, cough etc. In times of the dry season when the temperature and
humidity levels are high, they have good water irrigation that can aid the farmers’ needs for their
farms and animals.

PROBLEM PRIORITIZATION
● On the data collected there are about 60% of the population is burning. Waste
indiscriminate disposal is recognized as an important cause of environmental pollution
and is associated with health problems.

After 1 week of nursing intervention, the barangay/community head or family will make a
necessary measure to reduce the unemployment status and provide livelihood programs and
training for the community to have other sources of income.
Discuss the health needs of the family and be aware of the importance of having extra income for
the family.
Discuss the needs of the community and suggest activities that they can undergo to promote
employment of the community.
The barangay officials will be able to come up with livelihood programs and training for the
community to learn new skills.
Majority of the community will show support and actively participate in the said activity to make
the program alive and improve more.
