    Our Classroom

    are taught explicitly from the first day of school,


    and re-taught all year long. The purpose of our

    classroom management plan is to maintain
    positive behavior, motivation, and establishing
    expectations for students. It will create an
    effective learning environment in which lessons
    operate smoothly, disruptions are minimized, and
    students are engaged. Classroom Rules:

    Listen and follow directions.


    Raise your hand before speaking or
    leaving your seat.
    Keep hands and feet to yourself.
    Positive Reinforcement:
    Respect your classmates and your

    teacher.
    Individual notes that acknowledge good choices.
    The whole class works together towards a goal-
    holding one another accountable.
    Make calls home to tell parents what a great job Consequences:
    their child is doing. Proximity
    Send notes home to parents about how great their Verbal Correction
    student is doing. Re-teach rules and procedures
    Walking around the classroom giving positive Teacher note
    feedback about concrete things they are excelling Parent contact
    in. Principal
