GENERAL GUIDELINES
A. PARTICIPATION
I. Contestants
1. Participants must be bonafide student of Cagayan National High School -
Senior High.
2. Participants will represent their team and will get corresponding points in
each competition.
3. Each participant may join in more than one (1) event.
II. Advisers
1. She/he must be a faculty member of the Cagayan National High School -
Senior High.
2. Aside from the contestants, she/he shall be the team's ONLY
REPRESENTATIVE who can file protests or complaints to the Board of
Judges (BOJ).
3. She/he shall be the team's ONLY REPRESENTATIVE who can
participate in decision making regarding special cases.
4. Each faculty member maybe a coach in more than one (1) contested event.
III. Team Name

This will be given after the registration period as it will be based on the concept of
the Aggao Na Pattaradday 2022.
B. THE CONTEST
I. There will be four (4) participating teams as follows:
 Team A - STEM (11 and 12)
 Team B - HUMSS (11 and 12)
 Team C - ABM (11 and 12)
 Team D - GAS, TVL and SAND (11 and 12)
II. Each team may be composed of G11 and G12 learners and may participate in any
of the following:

5. Virtual General Quiz Bee
6. Spoken Word Poetry.
7. Solo KPOP Dance Competition

12. Vocal Solo Competition
III. All participants will be receiving certificates of participation.
IV. All entries will be posted in the SSG’s Facebook Page. The entry that will
accumulate the most number of react will be given the netizen’s choice
award.Auto likes are not allowed and may lead to disqualification.
V. The winners will be receiving certificates of recognition and plus point incentives.
C. THE DECISION-MAKING BODY

Aggao Na Pattaradday 2022 shall have a special decision-making body, known as the Board
of Judges (BOJ), who shall take on all protests or complaints filed by the team’s
representative. The overall BOJ will be composed of individuals whose expertise is relevant
to the contest. The judges’ decisions will be final and irrevocable. Meanwhile, the SSG
CNHS-SH reserves the right to change the mechanics stated herein provided that all the
participants arrive at a consensus before the contest dates.

REGISTRATION GUIDELINES
A. Registration Dates
The registration will be held within the following dates:

B. Registration Procedure
I. Registration Requirement
Participating teams must be able to submit the following requirement upon
their registration:

II. Mode of Submission

Complete the registration requirement and send it via email to
marcjessepelagio.aquino@gmail.com with the subject “Aggao Na Pattaradday

CONTEST MECHANICS
A. Mobile Legends Tournament

I. 5V5
1. All ML ranks are qualified to join.
2. Grade 11 and 12 whatever their strand is can be in the same team. This
means this is open for all.
3. A player can only join one team.
4. 15 minutes waiting time is allowed for all players.
5. Only the registered players are allowed to join the game.
6. No inside spectators are allowed
7. The game will be in bracket form.
8. Each round will be played in Custom Draft Pick.
9. Piloting, Map hack and Sharing of Account is strictly prohibited and will
lead to disqualification.
10. Foul language, Trash Talking, and use of Profanity are strictly prohibited
and may lead to immediate disqualification.
11. The team must secure its own internet connection before the event.
12. Teams are not allowed to stream snipe the stream during the match. Those
who will be caught will be immediately disqualified.
13. Any team that disregards any of the stated guidelines and mechanics is
hereby subjected to disqualification.
II. 1V1
1. All ML ranks are qualified to join.
2. Each team must have 2 players.
3. 15 minutes waiting time is allowed.
4. Only the registered players are allowed to join the game.
5. No inside spectators are allowed.
7. Each round will be played in Custom Draft Pick.
8. Killing the turtle and lord is strictly prohibited and may lead to immediate
disqualification.
9. Only the mid lane turret is allowed to be pushed.
10. The first player to have the first 5 kills or the first to destroy the base will
move to the next round.
11. Piloting, Maphack and Sharing of Account is strictly prohibited and will
lead to disqualification.
12. Foul language, Trash Talking, and use of Profanity is strictly prohibited
and may lead to immediate disqualification.
13. Players are not allowed to stream snipe the stream during the match. Those
who will be caught will be immediately disqualified
14. Players must secure their own internet connection before the event.
15. Any player that disregards any of the stated guidelines and mechanics is
hereby subjected to a disqualification.
B. Call of Duty Tournament

1. Each team must have 5 players and 1 reserved player.
2. Grade 11 and 12 whatever their strand is can be in the same team. This means this is
open for all.
3. Only the team members may join a lobby. Ineligible players who joined a lobby are at
risk of being kicked out from the game.
5. Use of foul language, emotes, trash talk, or profanity may lead to immediate
disqualification.
6. 15 minutes waiting time is allowed.
7. Only registered players are permitted to participate in the game.
8. No inside spectators are allowed.
9. Any team that disregard any of the stated guidelines and mechanics is hereby
subjected to a disqualification.
Match Rules:
1. Teams that attempt to use players which are not registered in their team may be
disqualified.
2. All players must remain in the game’s lobby following the conclusion of each match.
This allows everyone to view their final score on the scoreboard.
3. Once the match has started, only the players that are in the lobby are eligible to play.
In the case of a player disconnecting and is not able to join back, a team is allowed to
have a registered player on their team to substitute. This is allowed only once per
match.
4. Switching to the spectator mode is not allowed. If a player is caught using the
spectator mode, that team will automatically have to forfeit the current round of that
match.
5. Those who do account sharing will be disqualified.
6. Abusing in-game glitches that give a team an unfair advantage is not permitted.
Teams caught doing so may be disqualified.
7. Operator Restrictions cover the following: Transform Shield, HIVE, Ballistic Shield,
Bull Charge, Shadow Blade, Kinetic Armor, K9 and Equalizer.
8. Score streak restrictions: UAV, Advanced UAV, Counter UAV, Care Package, Shield
Turret, Stealth Chopper, Shock RC, Hawk X3, VTOL, Swarm, Cluster Strike,
Lightning Strike, Napalm and Orbital Laser.

14. Tactical Utility Restrictions: Heartbeat Sensor, Gas Grenade, Flash Bang, Storm Ball,
Flash Drone.
C. TikTok Teacher-Student Video Competition

1. Each participating team shall be eligible to field one (1) student and one (1) teacher.
2. Music to be performed by the participants will be given by the facilitator.
3. The participants can either copy the moves or make new moves.
4. The participants will shoot individually and aim the two separate videos must be
edited to come up with one final video as their final entry.
5. Video of the participants must be submitted 3 days before the posting of the entries.
The Google Drive link will be provided by the facilitator. Late submissions will not
be accepted.

D. Foodtography
1. Each participating team shall be eligible to field two (2) representatives.
2. Participants should submit one (1) instagramable food photograph originally captured
and prepared at their home.
3. Food must be placed only on a white plate regardless of the background (any meal
course).
4. Entries must be colored, and editing is allowed.

5. Entries must be in JPEG form only.
6. Entries must be in a high quality and be submitted in a 1:1 aspect ratio size.
7. Any type of camera is allowed (Mobile phone, digital etc.)
8. The participants will be asked to upload their output to the Google Drive link
provided by the facilitator. Late submissions will not be accepted.

E. Virtual General Quiz Bee

1. The Quiz Bee is a group competition. Each team is allowed to send at most four (4)
groups of three (3) members each for the group category and at most four (4)
individuals for the individual category.
2. The Quiz Bee competition will be conducted through Google Meet/ MS Teams.
3. The participants must join the meeting at least 15 minutes before the contest proper
for the checking of materials and surroundings.
4. Participants are expected to uphold honor and excellence throughout the competition.
Cheating during the Quiz Bee proper will be grounds for DISQUALIFICATION.
5. Only one complete answer must be given to every question. Unless otherwise stated
in the question, two or more answers or a misspelled answer shall automatically be
considered incorrect. Answers to mathematical questions must be in their simplest
form. Answers with a person’s name must include the first and last name unless the
question or the quiz master states otherwise.
6. Legitimate abbreviations shall be accepted unless stated otherwise.
 Slates must be raised immediately after the quizmaster says so.
 Questions, clarifications, or protests must be addressed to the judges DURING
the round of concern and PRIOR to the reading of the next question.
7. Only the participants and their adviser/s will be eligible to protest.
8. For the category, the questions of the quiz bee shall be taken from the following

9. The quiz bee will be composed of one (1) qualifying round and a final round.
 For the qualifying round, the participants will answer using pen and paper. For
the final round, the students will use slates. Slates can be in the form of
illustration board, whiteboard, or any clean board or paper where answers are
written and can be read clearly.
Group Category
I. Qualifying Round
1. During the Qualifying Round, the participants will be asked to join a

Google meeting where they will be required to open their cameras for
surveillance purposes.
2. The questions will be placed in Google Forms. The link to the Google
Forms will be sent through chat box during the Google meeting. The
participants will be given one (1) hour to answer all the questions.
3. Participants will write their answers on a clean sheet of bond paper. The
paper must be clean and should only include the participant’s name, team
name, group number, and answers. Scratch work must be done in a
separate sheet.
4. Participants are only allowed to have two clean sheets of bond paper as
scratch paper, which will be checked by the facilitators.
5. Answers must be written in a black or blue ball pen. Pencils are NOT
allowed.
6. There will be 30 questions in total. There are no levels of difficulty for
each question. Every correct answer shall merit one (1) point.
7. The participants are only given eight (8) minutes to take a clear picture of
their answers and upload it to the Google Drive link provided by the
facilitator. LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
8. The participants will answer the questions individually. The individual
scores of the participants in a team shall be averaged to determine the final
group score.
9. The groups with the top six (6) scores in this round will automatically
qualify for the Final Round.
II. Final Round

1. The qualifiers for the Final Round will be asked to join a Google meeting
where they will be required to open their cameras and turn on their
microphones.
2. Each qualifying group will be assigned to a breakout room where they will
answer the questions together. The participants will answer as a group.
3. The participants are NOT allowed to discuss using their microphones
while the quizmaster is reading the question, but are allowed to discuss
through chat. After the quizmaster reads the question, the participants may
use their microphones to discuss.
4. All scores are back to zero. Hence, all groups have equal chances of
winning.

5. There will be 10 questions each for the Easy, Average, and Difficult
levels. Each correct answer shall merit a corresponding 2 (two), 3 (three),
and five (5) points for the Easy, Average, and Difficult levels respectively.
6. The questions shall still be taken from the same categories mentioned.
7. In case of a tie, the groups with tied scores will be asked to join a breakout
room for a Clincher round. The Clincher round shall proceed until the tie is
broken.
8. The top three (3) groups with the highest scores in this particular round
will be declared the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively.
Individual Category
I. Qualifying Round

3. Each contestant makes a video recording of his poem with a minimum of 3 minutes
and maximum of 5 minutes.
4. Sounds, instrumental, or background music is allowed.

G. Solo KPOP Dance Competition

2. Music to be performed by dancers must be anyone from the identified artists.
3. The participants can either copy the moves of the K-POP group they have chosen or
make new moves.
4. The dance piece may be a mash up from the Given KPOP Group and must stick to
one group.
5. They can also perform the whole song.
6. The participants must submit a video performance with duration a of 3-5 minutes.
Two points will be deducted from the total score for recorded excess time or under
time.
7. Video of the participants must be submitted 3 days before the posting of the
entries.The Google Drive link will be provided by the facilitator. Late submissions
will not be accepted.
8. Costume must not be too showy.
9. Students are expected to be at their home. Videos must be recorded within the
learners’ house only.
10. The videos will undergo screening before posting.
11. Students must follow community quarantine guidelines.

1. Each participating team shall be eligible to field two (2) representatives (one male and
one female).
2. Kpop Selca Photo will be provided by the facilitator. One for all male participants and
one for all female participants.
3. The selca shall be judged according to the elements for K-Pop Selca.
4. The participants will be asked to upload their photo to the Google Drive link provided
by the facilitator three days before the posting of the entries. Late submissions will
not be accepted.

K. Essay Writing and Pagsulat ng Sanaysay

1. Each participating team shall be eligible to field two (2) representatives per contest
(two for English and two for Filipino).
2. Each participant shall use his/her team code number which shall be given by the
facilitators for identification. Use of the name of the team and other forms of
identification would automatically disqualify the participant.
3. The participants will be contained in a group chat for the orientation, reading of
mechanics and instructions, clarifications, and announcement of the Essay topic.
4. The topic for the contest may or may not be related to the theme of Aggao Na
Pattaradday 2022. The topic will be revealed just before the contest proper.
5. The essay shall be written in English (Essay Writing) or Filipino (Pagsulat ng

Sanaysay) and must contain a maximum of 500 words, articles included. In case the
piece exceeds the 500-word limit, a 3% deduction shall be incurred to his/her overall
score (the average score of the three judges).

6. The participants shall be given two (2) hours to organize his/her thoughts, compose,
and write the piece. The participant has to provide a title for his/her essay. The theme
for the contest's essay shall NOT be considered as the title.
7. The participants will write their essays using pen and paper. Only black and blue ball
pens are allowed. Pencils are NOT allowed.
8. The participants will be asked to take a photo or scan their output and upload it to the
Google Drive link provided by the facilitator within eight (8) minutes after the end of
the allotted time. Late submissions will not be accepted.
9. The essays will be checked for plagiarism. Plagiarism matches below 10% will have
a 1.5% deduction. Outputs with 10%-20% plagiarism matches will incur a 5%
deduction from the total score and outputs with more than 20% plagiarism matches
will be disqualified.
10. Participants are NOT allowed to communicate with any other person in the group
chat except the facilitator when the competition starts.

1. Winners in each of the contest categories will garner points for their respective teams.
These points will be the basis for the overall ranking of the schools. The pointing
system is summarized in the tables below.
2. The overall champion, first runner-up, second runner-up and third runner-up will
receive a Certificate of Recognition.
3. In case of a tie in the ranking for the Overall Champion, the team that has a greater
number of winning participants compared to the other/s will be declared as the
champion (NOTE: Winning groups shall be counted as only one (1) “win”).

Netizen’s Choice Award is equivalent to one (1) point.
