5 - are used in describing and comparing persons, places, or things.
6 - The degrees of adjectives are positive, comparative and superlative degrees.
7 POSITIVE DEGREE OF ADJECTIVE
8 - describe one person, place or thing.

12 COMPARATIVE DEGREE OF ADJECTIVE
13 - The comparative degree of adjective is used to compare the quality of two persons, places
14 or things.
15 - the words than and compared to is used to indicate comparison and that the comparative
16 degree used.
17 - the comparative degree is formed by adding -r or -er or more to the positive degree of
18 adjective.
19 In the last episode you have learned the rule in the use of -r or -er . This time we will learn the
20 use of more in forming the comparative degree of adjective.
21 RULE IN THE USE OF MORE
22 - if the positive adjective ends in suffixes such as -ful, -less, -able-, -ible, -ive, -ent, -ous, -
23 ing, -ant, -ic, and other adjective suffixes, and use more to form the comparative
24 adjective.

37 SUPERLATIVE DEGREE OF ADJECTIVE
38 - is used to describe the person, place, or thing with the highest quality among others.

23 DEGREES OF COMPARISON OF IRREGULAR ADJECTIVE
24 - irregular adjectives do not follow the rules of adding -r, -er, or more, and -st, -est, or most
25 in forming the comparative and superlative degree of adjectives.
26 - instead, irregular adjectives change in spelling to form the comparative and superlative
27 adjectives. However, they still use the keywords than or , compared to, and of all or
