22What is Consonant Blend?
23A consonant blend is a combination of consonants that are placed together without being
24separated by a vowel. The most common consonant blends are combinations of two or three
25consonants together at the beginning or end of a word that creates distinct sound.
26Blends are found either at the beginning or end of a word.
27Initial Consonant Blend – blends that are found at the beginning of a word.
