ORGANIZING & TRANSCRIPTS

1) Assistant editor:-Prepare interviews for transcript and VO translation * -
Organize the footage by person, location, etc.*
*We estimate the assistant editor will need 32 hours (4 days) to prepare and
organize the project. Total cost $480
Transcript and VO over footage are separate budgets. We're getting estimated
quotes in the next days.

PAPER EDIT (Road map)

2) Roberto, Juan and David will discuss***:

-Archive Footage?
-Based on the transcripts we will create a rough timeline (paper edit) of the
story that will be used as a starting point

ROUGH CUT
3) Based on previous paper edit Juan and David will cut a rough cut.
-Music research based on previous conversations.*
*We estimate the music will cost $150 per track and the film may need 6 tracks.

**We estimate an intern can do the subtitling in 16 hours (2 days). Total cost

SUMMARY
We start by organizing the project and sending all the interviews for transcript
and VO in english.
After discussing the content, aesthetic and length of the film we start editing.
The workflow will be divided in 4 stages: rough cut, fine cut, picture lock and final
cut.

There will be 5 reviews total:

-2 in rough cut stage
-2 in Fine cut stage
-1 in Picture lock

We suggest a final master deliverable on a PRORES HQ file.

50% in advance is required to start the project.
25% on fine cut

All miscellaneous expenses like messengers, mailing hard-drives and other
assets will be extra costs.

This budget estimate reflects the will to give you and your client a great deal
(below the line rates) and also to be realistic about the process and fair to the
amount of time and effort involved.
